Is that not what you want? Abi you dont want Biafra again?
Of a fact i want a fresh start for myself and my generation unborn

I want to live in a society that gives ample opportunity to all

I want to live in a country where my right as a citizen will be respected as enshrined in the Constitution

I want a country where nobody will think that power belongs to him and his children

I dont want to live in a country where some citizens are above the law

If Nigeria can guarantee this, why not. But it is too late.
We all need a fresh start.

I may not be an IPOB but i support them and i support rule of law

There is nothing like Patriotism in the dictionary of IGBOS from the outset..only hatred!
Over the years (after the Civil war) ,there was nothing they could have done but to keep building on such hatred .Your (IPOB) plans had been deciphered a longtym ago, hence the reluctance of allowing the secessionist group in IGBO land take power and use it to their own advantage.
No tribe in Nigeria feels comfortable with IGBOS being the GCFR ...why? Because they already knew there s nothing like Patriotism in their dictionary .

N.B : Not all IGBOS are in support of secession..more succintly ,not all support Nnamdi Kanu's style of leadership and call..

We have seen where the patriotic leaders from north & weast keep u.

There are actions taken by FG/NA on the recent biafra issue which I condemn such as given unnecessary attention to the fraudster P/I manager and also causing mayhem by deploying massive troops to their territory as if they want to attack a repulsive terrorists ( though they might boomerang to that level one day if care is not taken).

However, the OP case is that of someone playing a victim card. Burning dangote trucks, attacking innocent northerners and others are barbaric act not forgetting these useless IPOB pigs have their hardworking relatives in the northern part of the country sending money for their monthly upkeep.

Why not channel their frustration to PMB by staging a peaceful protest at FCT and speak to their legislatures, governors and spokesmen in the east to dialogue with the FG instead of building soar relationship with their senseless agitation.

If biafra is achieved today based on this spiteful relationship, what about their investment in Nigeria? What about bilateral business relationship? What about the issue of citizenship and co? The case of south Sudan should come to mind.

Yes I support they get their biafra but the way it's being done is not just wrong but full with ignorance and arrogance.

[quote author=junketer post=60416617]

wheew, let me start with the obvious ones. First and foremost, for igbos to travel out of nigeria they'll have to go to lagos or abuja.

Well Guess what? An international airport was situated in the east. The contract was awarded by your sister, Stella Oduah, then minister of aviation. She used that opportunity to enrich herself and her family and her cronies. The money was embezzled and now the airport becomes converted to a "sea port" whenever a heavy rain falls. The runway is complete failure. Whose fault? Lemme Guess, the Yorubas, right? We said, "let's investigate and prosecute her, maybe we'll be able to recover most of the looted money", you said, "No way! Witch-hunting. Don't you dare touch our sister". Then you went ahead and voted her in to the Senate.

Do i even talk about the onitsha or aba igbo trader who must use the apapa pirts to bring in his goods inteads of onitsha or onne ports thereby spending extra millions to transport those goods from lagos to the east.

Whose fault is it that the East has No boundary close to the Atlantic ocean? Lemme Guess, the Yorubas.

An anambra igbo student must get atleast 135 in jamb to gain admission to the university but an hausa man in the north only needs 2.

Cry baby. What must the Yoruba student score to gain admission into the university? Any idea?

What of all the federal roads in the east? Do you know what the average igbo person go through in the hands of the army and custom and police roadblocks when traveling from other parts of the country to the east.

Do you know what the average Nigerian faces in the hands of the Nigerian Police whenever they travel from state or city to another? Quit whining.

Do you know how many innocent igbo youths that are killed in the east by members of the police and SARS just for being outside late in the night?

Same thing happens in Lagos, Ibadan, and other parts of the country. Obviously you've never been outside your locality.

It goes on and on. Most police officers in anambra are not even igbos.

Yeah, right!.

The police heads in my local government is hausa.

Do you know the name of the commissioner of police in Oyo state or Ogun state or Edo state? Maybe you should find out.

They treat igbo youths like trash.

Lie. Or maybe Because they are criminally minded?

Let me stop here for now. The igbos in the east are going through a lot in the hands of the police and the army. These things are hidden from those outside igboland. Thats why the igbos that live in the east are all in with nnamdi kanu.

I can see How easy it is to brainwash the Igbo youths in the east. With this kind of mentality (gullible) that tends to believe everything, as long as it says the Igbos are marginalized, Kanu's job was always going to be a walk in the park.

You guys need serious re-orientation.

the biafra ish can never see the light of day for as long as the SE Governors keep collecting security votes and their legislators keep collecting those bogus allowances. What those small children from the SE don't realize is that the military invasion has the blessing of the SE Governors and all their political elites, they can't jettison their political mega bucks for some miscreants who call themselves freedom fighters. kolewerk

The suffering of Nigeria is majorly on the masses. There are only two citizens in this country ( The elites and the masses). Ask yourself why the SE legislatures/elites/etc are not audible to speak against the recent unrest in SE region except yesterday when they reluctantly gave a shabby comment on it.

I just wonder why they are still unable to list what's missing in the SE that's abundantly available in Zamfara, Yola, Ekiti, Oyo, Ogun, Taraba, Benue, Kwara, Kogi, Kano, Maiduguri and so on.

These victim mentality people are generally restless and self destructive no matter what and their endless noise and fake agitation is rooted in hate, anti social mentality and inability to co exist with other people.

Exactly!!! You have never been this vociferous up till 2015 and we know the reason. Your preferred candidate in 2015 lost the Presidential election and you can't stomach the idea that Buhari is the President. What you don't know is that Buhari have a defined time limit to be President but the repercussion and consequences of the madness you are stoking in the South East does not have.
ACTION and REACTION can't be same

If you have sense you should know that Buhari is not the first Northern or Katsina born President to rule Nigeria and that politicians of Igbo extraction has been losing presidential elections in this country.
The quest for restructuring Nigeria did not start today and will continue to get louder by the day, it is only little minded individuals that will reduce decades long agitation by mainly the SS and SE to a political personality issue.

Buhari elevated the agitation to a different dimension with his bigotry, and be rest assured that as long as Nigeria remains like, this the clamour for restructuring, referendum or true-federalism, will continue and get louder, if not bloodier.

only the legislature can guarantee that, all the shouts about restructuring or referendum are just mere rhetoric until the legislature amends our constitution, getting bloodier is a joke too far cos we are not yet a banana republic. We have laws and anyone who wants to mess up will have himself to blame. Even MKO Abiola who won a free and fair election that was not finalized by his declaration by the NEC then was not spared by our laws when he unconstitutionally declared himself as President. That's how thick Nigeria is.

Because of the short term thinking of most one Nigerianists, majority of them will either ignore or never understand this.

Any remaining patriotism that igbos developed or had for Nigeria after the bloody civil war has been lost. This Nnamdi Kanu incident has reinforced to a lot of Igbos their true place in Nigeria which is a conquered people whose participation in the Nigerian affairs is only as result of a literal and figurative gun pointed to their heads.

The older generations that experienced the civil war are the appeasement generation. They have taken so much pain and humailiation in order not to ruffle feathers with the status quo.

The younger generation will never do that. This will not happen. Igbos hate to be slaves. They will never accept it. Especially this generation. Nnamdi Kanu is just the beginning of what's waiting for Nigeria. Things will only get worse from here on.
