Now The IPOB Is Dead, How Do We Move Ndi-igbo Forward by Gourdoinc(op): 5:13am On Sep 16, 2017
finally what a breath of fresh air their proscription has been. I was long tired of being labelled a chest beating coward, thanks to the activities of ipob trolls or an afonja by same people. nevertheless any well meaning igbo man understands that the IPOB agenda even though wrongly championed and presented had some noble initiatives.

ndi-igbo must rise from the doldrums of marginalization, we must peacefully raise the consciousness of all igbos to our God given right to invest massively in our region. our enemies are not other tribes but ourselves. we must fight for a total restructuring of this nation into a true federation. economic autonomy of regions will end the marginalization.

we are trades people and business men, we need a large market and freedom to travel to many climes around the country. thus a United Nigeria gives us that advantage, while a restructured Nigeria gives us the advantage of being in charge of our progress locally. being in charge of our output and leaders. I won't matter anymore who is the president of this nation because his powers will be reduced to a minimum. Abuja will lose all importance in the scheme of things.

how do we achieve this rise in igbo consciousness

1. ndi-igbo must begin a frenzy of investment at home just as many have been doing. successful Sons and daughters must start bringing investment home and tap our latent resources to ensure the growth of the region.

2. ndi-igbo must develop self love of themselves and this must not include hatred of any other group of persons because we are all neighbors and everyone else are our customers.

3. ndi-igbo must ensure this deep divide that allowed the large followership of sick groups like the iPob due to having a large amount of unengaged/idle youths rampaging the region should be frowned at. every possible area of investment and development of the region towards empowering our youths must be given top priority and not left alone for the ineffectual govt alone

4. we must build good relations with other regions in hope of engaging in business and development initiatives. this would include working with the north on agricultural initiatives, working with with the south south on port development so as to ensure ease of import and export and the current over reliance on the Lagos ports. working also with the yourba in any area that could result in strategic benefits to our south east region.

5. the mentality of "I travel to village " must end, we must not longer travel to village, we must change all our villages into fledging towns and cities just as we have done in other regions we were resident in. invest at home ndi-igbo ibem.

6. we must encourage others tribes and nationalities to invest and live freely in our region, this will ensure proper knowledge sharing and skill transfer to our people.

7. we must elect good leaders who are representative of our goals and aspirations.

the sum of all this is that, ndi-igbo must embrace peace with our neighbors and rather fight for the total restructuring of this great nation. where every region becomes in charge of its own destiny while sharing a common sense of unity to boost our diversity. we must show love and demand love and respect by working with all regions with the sole aim of liberating our great region from its current state of decadence.

ndi-igbo are great people, ala -igbo is a great land. I love my people, my people are peaceful and accommodating and will follow the path of peace and tact to ensure we arrive at our promise land.

cheers

any right thinking igbo man who wants to embrace progressiveness must follow the path of peace, the path of tact and not brawn, we must lean to finally play politics because life in itself is politics. no igbo person wants war, war will never end well for us and truly we can't afford another war. our children don't deserve such especially when a peaceful option was possible.

join in my progressive stance and abandon all hateful IPOB agenda. we will move the igbo forward in the shortest period of time and in so doing achieve everything that was noble about the IPOB agenda

If you had succeeded in bringing a positive change, IPOB won't have risen.

Some of you keep deceiving yourselves that you had something to offer

Nnamdi Kanu miscalculated!
He probably mistakes GEJ 2015 political support will automatically translate to Biafra endorsement. Not knowing that Biafra agitation is an unpopular phenomenal to many Nigerians including some Igbos.

Everyone is saying Nigeria system of government has been faulty all along but the solution to it is not an outright balkanization. Restructuring can do the magic.

What fuels Biafra is not politics but neglect of the Biafrans by the oppressive Nigerian state

Why are Fulani herdsmen terrorists still lurking around in Igboland.?

Why don't we have a functional international seaport at Ibaka Akwa Ibom to boost industrialization in the old Eastern region.?

well as my news update tells me, there are no recent herdsmen attacks on igbo soil and such attacks weren't localized on igbo soil previously. many regions outside the south east had clashes with them , even though the igbos cried foul more often. that issue has been resolved with govt decision to support ranches and their understanding that no region will allocate land for such use.

my group of elitist progressives will win because we will spread no hate, spread no propaganda and above all we will put igbo first in all we do.

Before Igboland can progress, we need to bury IPOB.

Hopefully, another peaceful and tactful group with manners will sprint up; a group full of smarts that all the Southern groups can work with to speak one voice.

Nigeria is messed up. One Nigeria doesn't work. We need to reconstruct or break apart. Nigeria doesn't work now.

However, we won't support a mannnerless maniac.

not having a functional seaport is not an attack by other tribes on igbos, but a reflection of the failure of igbos to play politics appropriately. we supported Jonathan and yet couldn't get him to do something like that which will benefit our region.

the simple way of achieving that now is simply through restructuring, we will simply ask investors to partner with our akwa ibomites neighbors to develop that seaport to enable boost in trades and investment. we won't need to beg the north again, because even they will be interested in having such a seaport working for their export

I am a major campaigner for that progressive group which will work peacefully with elitist agenda. we must strictly be people with a vision, young men and women with elitist ideas on how to develop their various regions and arrest the current decadence. we are slowly creeping up after the soon to be death of the hateful IPOB which painted wrong images of noble agendas and spoiled for war.

Nigeria must be repositioned for greatness and our current system will never achieve that, we must become autonomous economically and operate a true federal system.

Mr

I don't argue with dreamers because they don't face reality

I repeat, IPOB is not stopping you from achieving any useful goals in Igboland

If you believe you can do better than IPOB, start by ensuring that Ibaka seaport in Akwa Ibom state is constructed to aid industrialization of Biafra land

We are not interested in Onne seaport because it can't do the job for us.

When you achieve that, then we will join your movement and abandon Kanu

This is sadly true. The agitation will never die. NK was barely 2months old when the war started. The stories he heard and the marginalization he's witnessing has brought this.
Let everyone know this, Igbo is egalitarian and every man is his King. Hardly can any man dictate for the other, but when they decide to follow one, as they did with Ojukwu, it is till death. We have that with NK now.
NK controls genuine followers than any governor in SE.
Dialogue not proscription is the solution.

even Kanu couldn't have achieved anything. anyway like I rightly said, restructuring comes first and strategic investments for betterment of the regions will come next. we have started already. the calls for regionalism is high and with a common voice, we will get that before 2019 and thus start the economic revolution

Because of IPOB, everybody started talking of Restructuring.?

Kanu made the talk of Restructuring stronger

If you want to stop Biafra, Restructure Nigeria, build Ibaka seaport, dredge river Niger, etc

you are free to continue with your IPOB agenda, but note that with this proscription, simply wearing the IPOB colours is enough to be shot at or jailed as the case may be. be warned and save yourself that pain.

Igbo people are great, but made to look timid and weak by the noise of that boy.
There's no region that's not marginalized in Nigeria, but the FG should focus attention on the SE in terms of development; this will throw kanu and the agitation into oblivion.

What have you developed that has created jobs for Biafrans.?

I agree with you, That will bring about a win-win situation.

One thing we have failed to understand is, we manifest what predominates our consciousness.
The average Igbo person is predominated by the consciousness that igbos are marginalized and the Universe cannot help but manifest that.
