And Tammy because of Pinnick... wink Don't you think so? It is no lies or jokes that Pinnick is a close family friend of Tammy's Dad.

Talking about assurance... Victor Moses who Tammy rates and respects at Chelsea called into that meeting between Pinnick and the Abraham family and spoke of how eager they wanna see him in Nigeria's colors... urging him to fly with the Eagles and not choose to hunt with the Lions.

And if England rate Tammy that much, they would give him a call-up at least... Right now na Rashford dey take all the spotlight because he is fully English but Tammy is Anglo-Nigerian... England don't wanna and will never rate Tammy over Rashford and we know why. Tammy does not have a career with England... Nigeria is the best for him.

I wish he play for Nigeria coz we need him than England.

All this could have been avoided had Pinnick shut his mouth and carry on his job codedly without making noise about it or putting the young lad in a tight corner. As it stands right now, we can lose this lad due to carelessness just because some idiot wanted to win some cheap points.

foreign-borns or foreign-breds don't get a free pass. They still have to face the competition in the SE.
it's not a sin to get them to choose Nigeria. But playing for Nigeria now and in the long run, they have to earn it. No one is giving them a free pass.

You earn the right to the SE by putting in top class consistent performances week in week out. That impression is further cemented by playing in a quality team in a even top quality league.

I think, this should have been done in private. All the pictures released by Pinnick was to score political points.

Don't be surprised if he gets an England call-up soon.

No! We don't need him. Actually he needs us more. Because we're fully covered right left and centre taking a look at the position he plays. So should we lose him, to me it's no big deal.

Sure Pinnick blew it up a bit.... but Tammy will be silly to choose England now when we all know any call-up by them is plain reactionary and "Agbonlahorish"

Tammy should be wise.

Just saw this few seconds ago too.... no where has he said he won't play for Nigeria. See? This is just a smart move by him and he is also wisely using his Dad's close family friendship with Pinnick as alibi for the visit.

Lad knows what is at stake now... England will immediately start making things hellish for his young career at Swansea... like you said earlier, "the pressure".. but He knows what he wants and I hope he avoids the agbonlahorish syndrome.

Same way Wenger wanted Iwobi to play for England. It is the same old scenario playing out again. Tammy is just being bombarded right now because of that meeting with Pinnick and he has to use the alibi of Pinnick being a family friend to quell talks of his switch...

Remember Pinnick says The family has the forms with them to begin the process now.. so let us wait because this will be quite another long ride.

And yeah.. Paul Clement cannot make Tammy choose England eventually. Choice is Tammy's and I hope he ignores the other voices and listens to his own.

Clement is English. And he said his opinion is simply because he is English. Although he is saying the boy will make his own decision but as the coach of Swansea he don INDIRECTLY put pressure on the boy by even commenting on the matter like that.

His antics will not work.
However, Pinnick need to improve on this aspect going forward. If I were him, I will say we are making a move on Tammy, when the matter don already reach FIFA hand. Stay ahead of your competition.

Those photos released by the NFF twitter handle of Pinnick and Tammy and another of Pinnick, Tammy, Timmy and the dad were always gonna go viral....

It was only a matter of time before the English FA and media came down hard to get out of Tammy a recommitment to the Three Lions badge not because they have plans for him but bcoa they are acting like Vultures hoarding players they know they won't use just to keep them off Nigeria's grasp.

CIV and Senegal no dey get problems with players switching to them from France... but with England our case is always different. Na wa.... it is always war. Bunch of wankers the English media and FA are honestly....

I just tire for everything.... this is the only player Pinnick has sounded very confident of bagging for us with that loud mouth of his... lolll.. he hardly spoke about the rest... yet under him, Iwobi and Aina have joined....

....But on Tammy.. chaaaiiiiii... Pinnick went as far as indirectly taunting the English sef... loolll... words like, "Listen, I know his father and Tammy is like my son so I have no worries over his willingness to play for us over England".... chaaaiiiiii... words like that dey bite for ear... lol

His politicking style has worked some good (Iwobi, Aina, CAF Elections, Aiteo, etc) but I pray it won't work some bad eventually in this case of Tammy.
