The information reaching NGHUBS newsdesk is that fighter jets have been seen hovering around South Eastern part of Nigeria since yesterday.

According to NGHUBS correspondence in Enugu he spotted a fighter in the sky within Enugu metropolis around 11:45am on Thursday

On the other hand a tweet by @anambrastate_ng a fighter jet was also spotted in Anambra state around Anambra on friday.

The tweet read
" Fighter jets were seen today (12:20pm)hovering the sky in South East.Infos are yet to reach us on why these jets are flying around the skies"

The fighter jets have been spotted in Umuahia, Abia state.

Many have questioned why fighter jets are hovering around the South Eastern part of Nigeria as information are yet to be conveyed on the recent development

Is it that the SE was not previously notified that the military will be carrying out a series of exercises in that region to serve as deterrent to criminal and terrorist elements, and serve as a drill to measure the responsiveness of the military if situation calls for their input?
