[quote author=thesicilian post=60694800]This sounds too good to be true. What people don't know is that DSTV have the exclusive right to show Premiere League and Champions League in Nigeria while Kwese TV have the right in Africa. No other Digital Television and I repeat no other Digital Television can show it Unless they are striped of their right. Have you ever wondered why Startimes can't show this league? Is not because they don't have the money to go for it but there is how all these things work just like DSTV can't show Bundelisga and Seria A and even Copa America. Once you buy these rights, it will stay for some agreed number of years before it can be negotiated or before the owners decide to give another person the right if necessary. Saying TSTV will show these leagues for now is like saying Lukaku will play for Chelsea on their next match. Unless DSTV borrow the right to them of which am not seeing possible. And saying you can pause your subscription on a Pay TV whenever you like is like saying this company want to go Bankrupted before starting. Anyways we are all in Nigeria and time will tell. Unless they have time and Conditions applied else don't be SuSurprise they turn out to be Nigeria Politicians who says A and do B. My opinion though. |

TSTV is using Hybrid broadcast broadband TV (HBBTV) while DSTV is using Satellite TV technology, so DSTV only have Satellite TV EPL Right while TSTV get HBBTV right for EPL and other leagues. TSTV is here to stay. Dont argue blindly https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hybrid_Broadcast_Broadband_TV |

Its about time there's a competition against DSTV. The later's monopoly in the satellite tv broadcast market is too much. |
