Mr Rocket Man, must u haul insults at me for expressing my opinion? By their diction and tone u shall know them, some irredeemably frustrated specie.

Take a look at this demented waste of human flesh!
You deserve all the "insults", it would help bring life back into your ignorantly depressed brain because your brain is definitely on life support to be reasoning how you were as you were blindly supporting the extortion by DSTV.

Ignorant silly slowcoach! You are just a pathetic dud! Dud!

Don't think so, some things are nt just right. Don't think it will be commercially viable for a real DSTV competitor to be that ridiculously cheap. Premiership broadcast right don't come cheap likewise other premium content on DSTV. Its like somebody promising u a car brand with all d luxuries and goodies in a BMW 7 Series at a price of KIA Picanto. We shouldn't forget so soon the jokers called HITV.

But how I wish it was possible..
Premier league is not expensive. In Benin republic, they use canal+ and all live sports are broadcast always. Even ordinary tv sellers have canal+ and they watch live matches in their shops. Now if ordinary tv sellers can watch all live sports in their shops, then it means that these dish tvs are very cheap. Just because Dstv has been milking Nigerians does not mean Dish tvs are that expensive.
They are not.
Dstv monopoly is over! Even if you make any complaint to them, they wont rectify it. Yet, they charge you for calling their customer care. Dstv must not be allowed to buy Tstv sha.

Really too good to be true, we are tired of this costly south African DSTV. I wish this is even an indigenous digital TV. So buying it

Someone on this thread claims he is already using it, but maybe because it hasn't been made public yet, he doesn't seem to want to talk about it. But here is a picture he posted from the earlier match between Westham Vs. Spurs. It shows the match being watched on bein sports 2 HD

where is the picture?

He or she is watching that match and pretty much every other matches (epl, la liga, ucl, et al) using Trend TV / CTL - which has been available and showing steadily in the south east and south south only. I owned CTL when I was in Uyo.

Most people arguing about TSTV are resident in the south west (and maybe north) who haven't been privy to CTL /Trend TV.

To me, TSTV seems like an upgrade of Trend TV /CTL being that there'll be more channels (100+ channels) as compared to CTL's 40+ channels. CTL decoders aren't HD enabled, so I'm hoping TSTV can fix that..

Merits:
1. TSTV Subscription = N3,000 as compared to CTL's N3,150 and DSTV's N13,000+

2. ALL important matches (epl, la liga, ucl, afcon, cup qualifiers) will be streamed live via beiN Sports and other Sport channels.

3. Movie channels are lit! mbc 2 does it for me on CTL so it's good to see the channel on TSTV. News, Documentary and Music Channels will make it worthwhile.

4. Pay As You Go - many Nigerians have been screaming for this for eons, DSTV's silence was deafening, now here we are...

5. 10GB of data as bonus to N3,000 subscription. I hope this won't be a one time /one off offer.

6. Add yours

Demerits:
1. beiN Sport has one dedicated English commentary channel, one french commentary channel, the rest Arabic. So, be ready to listen to funny Arabic commentaries or blast music with your DVD home theatre while watching football at times lol.

2. Signal Strength/Quality on CTL is average at best - once rain starts dropping (just drizzles) with slight wind, channels buffer and lose signal. I'm hoping TSTV has this aspect covered?

3. You cannot preview programmes information before or after they're showed on CTL unlike DSTV. I'm hoping TSTV does better than CTL

4. Customer Service - CTL can be funny and annoying sometimes. You could be watching a particular game/sport on beiN sports channel 2, the operators at their station will change / switch to another sport channel. wtf?! I once watched a Man Utd match on Champions league day only for them to change to Barcelona match. TSTV shouldn't try such rubbish.

5. Add yours

Regarding exclusive rights to EPL, beiN Sports also have exclusive rights to show EPL and other matches in North Africa (see link below) just as DSTV has rights in Sub Saharan Africa. This is how TSTV intends to stream their games using the North African connection. I hope I've been able to make some clarifications.

It looks like a USB stick, you put the stick in your TV us port.

The Amazon fire stick comes loaded with millions of movies, TV shows, documentaries, sports channels, everything you can think of

It also has apps like Hulu (which has almost 50 million movies) Netflix (if a movie comes out today, it will be on Netflix the next day), i can't just mention everything it comes with

Millions of people stopped using dish Network, cable TV and decoder

If your cable costs 50 thousand every month, Amazon fire stick costs 6 thousand and have more movies, sports and contents more than 6 cable TV out together

Haha. We don't really know how cheap it is going to be yet, since it is being done at a pay as you go basis. I guess when they start we'll know how fast the subscription finishes, and other unforseen/hidden costs.

Have you heard of Amazon fire stick ??

Dirty kid

Of course I live in third world country. But you live in hell. There are people using flying cars about and others private jets, but I'm sure you may still be using taxis or, worse still, cycles. That doesn't make you less human or dignified.
