Nigeria’s Vice President Yemi Osinbajo visited Uyo, the Akwa Ibom state capital to celebrate with Governor Udom Emmanuel, as the state marks its 30th anniversary.
Osinbajo was warmly welcomed and hosted to a brief reception at the Government House in Uyo, before he headed to Onna local government to commission the first syringe factory in the country and an electric metering plant.
He also went to commission the renovated, and re-equipped General Hospital in Etinan.
The Vice President then proceeded to the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo for a Match past and cultural display .

The syringe manufacturing company is a big plus to the Nigerian economy, at least we would import less of syringes,

The CBN should not provide ForEx for syringe again so that this new plant can be well patronized,

Though this is coming late but it is far better than nothing.

With this i pray they wont import syringe into Nigeria again. Is like Osinbajo is the President of Nigeria he has visited all region while Bubu is just a Nigerian president or president of the 95%

The syringe factory is NOT the first in the country. There is one in existence for over five (5) years now in Rivers state.
