For once, the NASS has been forced to really go to public enlightenment about a Bill they are deliberating on, as against the past when they just they make laws and move without thinking of the consequences. All thanks to Prof. Odinkalu of the civil societies organisations who raised the dust on them with viral video.

Well I don't think this is good, why are churches mentioned and not Mosques?

I don't think religious bodies should come under the same heading, this is a bad bill and should be rejected, the HOA member that initiated it should be recalled.

The bill is dead on arrival! Period.

Most of these NGOs are only serving personal interests. They have ways of getting data & useful information to justify funding. At times in Nigeria, most of the promoters of these NGOs are friends to some project managers of international donor organizations with offices in Nigeria.

Sahara Reporters finally made me to support the NGO bill. Sahara reporters also operate an NGO & collecting funds. NGO is just an idea to make money for most people.

That is what the mischievous antagonists want you to see. I am against the bill but I'm not happy with the manipulative manner that some folks are going about their campaign against the bill.

Let them differentiate their opinion, assumptions and fears from facts. Give us the facts and let us know your fears and we can make a decision. But no. They want to use scare tactics to push us to follow them it's not their fault. Sebi we Africans kuku no dey read.

If you read well, e.t.c is not the same spelling as mosque and does not mean the same thing. You're not the writer and doesn't know what e.t c in his lang means. I believe you went to school.

This bill is clearly unnecessary. You probably may enact it for other NGOs and excluding Churches, as Mosques and Traditional Institutes.

Bros u need to digest this bill well well, is not only NGOs that this bill gona affect. Do u know that any non- governmental organisation its gonna affect e.g mosque, churches, labour unions and any organisation that is not business or company oriented.
