I battled same with my baby and he won. The guy refused sleeping in the cot. He wakes every 15 minutes but put him on our bed, he will sleep and only wake up to feed.

My baby woke up like twenty times last night. Since birth she only wakes up once or twice a night to feed, 3 max if she sleeps super early but these days once I put her on her back to sleep, she'd roll over on her tummy and keep sleeping, which is the issue cuz she hasn't learnt to roll Over from her tummy to her back, so whenever she gets tired of sleeping on her tummy and wants to turn, she'd wake up and cry. I feel like her cot doesn't really give her enough space to sleep as she'd want to and I can't put her on our bed cuz it's not too big and she sleeps scatter-scatter. I can't lay her horizontally across her cot cuz she's tall and won't fit. I'm out of options here, I miss good sleep. We use a graco playpen and it's quite big but apparently it's not big enough for her. dunno what else to do biko. Anyone else ever been in my shoes.

We are at the "I won't eat anything stage". I have tried every cereal you can think of:
Cerelac, Nutribon, Gerber, Frisogold, Ridelac, Cow and gate, August secrets, Akamu......Nothing worked.

I tried semo and okro soup, he took but little quantity. I gave him mashed sweet potatoes with avocado, it stuck in his throat and made him throw up. I don tire. This is just a rant post.

For the poo, if he is exclusively breastfed, there is no need to worry. The grunting doesn't always mean they are trying to push the poo out.

My son stayed for 10days without pooing. Took him to the hospital and was sent home with nothing.

My mother in law just left after 5weeks of omugwo and I want to stop somethings she dd for my ds..eg after using warm water to bathe him,she still uses hot water to massage his body,head and navel...I mean better hot water o,after which she still uses hot stone for the navel again...now I intend to stop d hot water massage ,please mothers will I be doing my son any gud by stopping?or should I continue, if yes, for how long.

i still do that for my 6months baby especially when there is cold. have not heard any episode of cold catarrah or cough am not too sure if its cos of the hot water massage every morning but i know it helps

Really? Ekiti!? Hubby is from Ekiti & im from ogun. Isu ewura & regular yam no dey scarce 4my house cus o lpve yam naturally.

Your twin is kuku fine, we're battling cough and cattarh. Since our twin likes swallow do the AS like swallow and give him. Do different soups like ewedu, okro, and egusi. Small, small he'll start eating. I'll collect that stuff this weekend and get it across to you

I think u have to eat it frm childhood if u know ekiti pple u will know yam is like rice to dem dey don't mind eating it frm morning to night for a whole month

It protects against one of the viruses that causes diarrhoea. It's not compulsory, a baby can do without it and it's not given free as far as I know in health centres. However if you can afford it please give your baby.

Just read up. Igbo Ora is in Oyo state. The locals believe their twinning is because of okra leaves that they eat while scientists believe it's from yam peel (elubo?) Not the actual yam itself

That's for Oyo state but ekiti own is yam not the regular yam we buy from aboki ooo

lol I don't think the yam aspect is ascertain it's just base on theory. Just like the saying that if u eat beans u will grow tall some pple believe it works for them while it doesn't work for others. Pm me

Don't shift for him. Once he feels your body and smells you he'll stay and maybe roll in the other direction

abeg Una remember me for this twins matter cos after 2previous scare's I am so discouraged to have a 3rd. But having twins will not be a bad idea at all.

Praise the lord somebody. Testimony time. After so many unsuccessful attempts of making my lo suck breast milk from feeder on the day I resumed work I dropped him at the creche leaving 200ml of breast milk at the creche with ice cubes at 7:10am. And went back to breast feed him during my break period at 10:40 my lo has exusted all 200ml and he is still asking for more. Just 2wks in creche my loo cries for milk at the sight of feeder so all the plenty kinds of feeders I bought are now useful cos he sucks from all the 3kinds of feeders I drop at the creche. Ny biggest surprise is dat he now take 300ml plus me going to breast feed him. And he is still not satisfied. I am surprised cos he used to be a 5mins sucker.

I used mittens on my 12week old who recently started sucking and he still continued with the mittens. Any ideas on how to dissuade him from sucking?

Please dont skip it since you've started. Diarrhoea in infants is not to be taken lightly and anything you can do to prevent it helps
