My people, I saw hell, this species of human had no time to attend to us and my child was slowly passing on my God Almighty, thank God Almighty for a very special doctor, the senior pediatrician who was touched by CHRIST JESUS my LORD to attend to us.. this beautiful doctor took it upon himself to attend to my baby oh for God's sake, he was very exceptional, those same nurses, came to this doctor to complain that this baby doesn't have a folder with them why is he treating her, oh my God Almighty, what could have degenerated this kind of human being to this low finish, you need to see the look on my face when those heartless nurses said such, the doctor simply reply them that they could see that this baby is passing on slowly that if this blood isn't stop from flowing through her naval that any help given after now will be zero.


He needs to do something immediately, wow, heavy defeat for witches, by God's grace he finally stopped the wicked bleeding and referred us to Kelsy Harrison Specialist hospital where we did blood transfusion and other serious medical assignment.



Thank God Almighty, my baby is stabilized, but the question remains why this nurses are so wicked minded and without Natural affection, is it that they have seen much death that they don't care anymore if another dies.?

Take for instance, UBTH were they dont have any emergency supplies to treat patients, so in case of an emergency y'all will be shouting at the nurse or doctor to do some magic and when you are told nothing is available or asked to pay for it before commencing treatment you will start looking for whom to beat up.

Imagine thqt mgt will make the rules that no patient will be treated without a card and then turn around to ask why were they not treated and making the frontline professionals look like witches and bloodsuckers. Thunder fire them.

Sentiments aside. It is only natural for anyone to take sides with his ‘own’, so I wouldn't blame y'all trying to protect the nurses. I am a medical personnel, likewise my father. When I was younger, I got upset each time I see my father scold his nurses, I felt he was being harsh. But no, they messed up a lot. You don't ever in your entire existence wish to be their victim, you will wish you'll just disappear or you were dead.
There are good nurses,but they are scarce, especially in government hospitals. Reason is, they feel they owe no patient nor the hospital any explanation, they are only answerable to the government who employed them. If you are looking for a hospital where the nurses will be nice to you, then you should visit the private hospitals and not government hospitals. You should also learn to keep an eye on your little one, visit the hospital as soon as you see any abnormal sign, don't wait for it to become an emergency.
Nurses love to take their time when attending to patients, they hate being hurried and pushed around. Thank God your baby is fine now. In our profession, (medicine) we consider lives first before anything, am glad that doctor did the right thing, I wonder what kind of orientation these nurses have? For heavens sake documentation could be done with anything for the mean time, what happens to their heads or a piece of paper? SMH

Obtaining card and documentation before attending to a dying patient in emergency cases is not compulsory anywhere in Nigeria. You can make use of ordinary paper or continuation sheet before transferring to the main card/folder. We are talking about emergency cases here. Bleeding patient for that matter.

Qualities of nigeria nurses(in govt hospitals)

They are fat
They have big shapeless yanch(ass)
They eat alot
They are rude
They are wicked
Most of them don't even know their duties
They have no sympathy
All they do is gossip

I blame the government cause they wont employ the qualified

I agreed with you.is there any federal hospital is as corrupt as FMC Yen? They show no regard to patient patience.And this is the only hospital I ever heard dragged over 200 unclaimed corps to court.My experience there was not a child play. God will surely touch them all for better.

In every profession, we av d good n bad eggs... Dis is not a big deal.
Firstly, Not every1 DAT wears white n works in a Hosp is a nurse. Not every female in d Hosp is a nurse.. Dia are auxiliaries/quacks, dia are record officers who might av been trained to stand in as nurses. Pls, let's all learn to spot d difference
I work with a teaching Hosp owned by a state govt. I'm an ACCIDENT AND EMERGENCY NURSE n I must say d way d system is designed is sumtin else. In my own accident n emergency dept, NOTHING is available not even gloves or emergency drugs/ injections. Each pt provides wateva is being used for him/her. Wen a pt is rushed into my dept, d first tin is to tell d relatives to obtain a casenote while I start checking d patient's vital sign to know whats up with d patient. After obtaining d casenote, ur doc reviews u, writes out materials, drugs/ injections, u procure dem at d pharmacy, den we start treatment. DAT is d setting we find ourselves. Nothing available except u provide ur stuffs
Buh a nurse is in d centre of all dese,..... Despite being overworked, underpaid, abused by patients n dia relatives, I'm not FRUSTRATED.
I get blamed by d ignorant pts for hospital policies, I get blamed for d lab's incompetence, doctor's unavailability
I even get blamed wen d fault is from d patients/relatives failure to bring ur pt to d hosp on tym.... Buh in all dese, I'm a NURSE.. Im HUMAN. I'll still care for d sick/dying ones despite d talks/abuses/attitudes.

The attitude of the patient matters not. They are trained and paid to be able to cope with those kind of patients. People act different when they panick and we're talking about a woman with a toddler bleeding to death, how rational do you think she can be in that situation

You can still control your emotions even in such situations....a little self coaching will do the magic.

1. She is a rude person.
2.She never really pointed out the crime or malpractice of the nurses.
3.Manners count in all situations.

But come to think of it the only complaint I see here is that they were looking at your baby while he is bleeding. And you stated that there reason is because you don't have a card. Why did you not pay for one at least for registration and consultation. They would have attended to your baby. At least first aid.
