Nnamdi Kanu Not In Our Custody – Army by Kazim88: 9:15am On Sep 27, 2017
The authorities of the Nigerian Army have declared that the leader of the proscribed Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, was not in their custody.

The Army described as untrue and misleading, allegations in some quarters that Kanu was arrested by soldiers who invaded his house in Abia State.

The Army Public Relations Officer, Major Gbadamosi Oyegoke, said on Tuesday that he was not authorised to comment on the matter.

When our correspondent contacted the affected officer, he simply said: “Kanu is not in Army custody.”

The officer’s reaction was prompted by the demand by Kanu’s family that the Nigerian Army should produce him because his whereabouts remain unknown to them since the September 14, 2017 military raid on their house at Afaraukwu Umuahia.

Kanu’s younger brother, Prince Emma Kanu, who made the call yesterday, said that he strongly believed that his brother was “captured” by the army during the raid.

He said that he had no doubt that his brother was in the custody of the army and urged the military to release him to the police.

“It is either they (soldiers) captured him or killed him when they attacked our house. If they captured him, they should release him to the police, and if they killed him, they should produce the corpse because he was last seen moments before the raid,” he said.

Emma further alleged that the whereabouts of his parents, Eze Israel Kanu, and Lolo Sally Kanu, had remained unknown since the attack.

He said that the family had been searching for the IPOB leader and his parents after the military attack without success.

Traditional rulers in Ibekuland had last week asked the army to produce the monarch, whom they said they had not seen after the invasion of his residence.

Kanu’s younger brother who said the family had remained in shock over the attack, called on the international community to prevail on the Nigerian Army to produce his parents and the IPOB leader.

LOL...The military just complicated this Nnamdi Kanu case. Nnamdi Kanu can be at a safe location somewhere but IPOB still be accusing the Army of holding him...LOL. The Army may deny but ALL NIGERIANS KNOW THAT THE ARMY WENT TO HIS HOUSE TO KILL HIM AS SEEN BY GUNSHOTS. The drama hasn't started yet until IPOB sue the Nigerian military for Nnamdi Kanu whereabouts. The judge will ask Nigerian military: what were you doing at his house few minutes before his disappearance, without court orders or warrants?

The Nigeria army were on the scene.

After the siege dead bodies recovered from Kanu house, with others taken away by the army, including Kanu and his parents.

Now, if Buahri can do the crime, then he should be brave enough to accept responsibility.

Even a terrorist organisation like Boko Haram, accept responsibility.

It does not matter if Buhari want to deny, there are evidence and instances that hangs Nnamdi Kanu and his family disappearance right around Buhari neck.

Thus, matters have now gone beyond national confines and it is now a matter for the international community and international law.

Not only have Nigeria government disobeyed court orders, they have proceeded to murder a defendant even while his trial was pending.

This new craze of killing unarmed civilians and hiding their corpse is totally unacceptable in the 21st century and very reminiscent of early Socialist terror regimes of the 60s .. Today it's Kanu's corpse tommorow it might Tinubu ...İ dont know where this govt learnt this nonsense from but it must be discouraged ... Over 1000 Shia missing , Tompolo missing , Zak lZaky missing and now Kanu corpse is also missing . Nigerian welcome to the barbaric era of draconian rule .

The case would get more complicated soon... Nigeria government as usual would still commit more blunder..

Amnesty International is yet to add to their woes.

ADF lCC suit is still in progress

Bruce Fein is still hitting the government hard.

The worst is before now the was a face of the struggle... Now they is no face.

Who would you negotiate with? Who would you tell to call the people to order.

That is why the Military are quicly pushing a wrong narrative now. Kanu being who he is will not go under ground without issuing statements about the FG. like you said he has a day in court. I hope the FG have a very good explaination to give to the world.
