Icon4s:what about his salary wahala, if let's say we get to semi-final, his stock will rise there will be offers from other countries and even clubs. He might weigh his options and ditch us remember Herve Renard. |

Icon4s:I I am not a regular contributor here but a regular reader who has been following football since 1987. I agree with Icons comments and suggestion and I must admit this also makes me happy whenever I read this thread. Let's reconcile as we all have a common goal which is the success of our dearly beloved Super Eagles. I would hope and pray that no form of insult per abuse would be thrown here again in the future. Peaceful Taliban. |

safarigirl:You quite a feisty lady though. It's ok. Temper your anger since you are angry with your friend and not your enemy. Even your friend will - to your chagrin - as is the case here - reject your advise but Human freedom is what we must all respect. I followed everything regarding this regrettable debacle. At the point where Bascovanveli and even at a time goodjoe called on nerdie to drop the dollophead jab is where he should have drawn the curtain. But human nature being what it is, he didn't and at the end blood was spilled all over the place. He's hurt by the insults to his mum (Growing up then on the Airforce Base person go look you just say ya Mama, ya papa with their hands thrust out- e no dey pain us again ) I understand his pain. Pietrorico didn't do well on that and he's acknowledged it(I am not happy how nerdie went and opened his own thread on the heels of the fallout but that's how he chose to react which even though I don't agree with, I am obliged to respect while hoping this thing would be resolved or resolve itself. Let's have peace reign. Zambia is not up to two weeks from now. I am hoping we would qualify that day and pop e-wines |

I'm in support of the peace move too Icon4s. I think we should tune down our comparison a bit too because even the bible says de that compare themselves are not wise and also most comparison going on doesn't change the people engaging in it opinion because they'll surely stick to it no matter how hard and factual the supposed opponent's points are... the best is drop your facts about things and anybody doesn't agree or align with them, no need persuading or beating the person into line to accept. |

hope this news is false we need our players to be fit ![]() Key Nigeria Winger Suffers Muscle Strain Injury Ahead Of WCQ Vs Zambia Published: September 27, 2017 Key Nigeria Winger Suffers Muscle Strain Injury Ahead Of WCQ Vs ZambiaSuper Eagles manager Gernot Rohr has received bad news from London, with one of the strikers called up for the crucial World Cup qualifier against Zambia next Saturday struggling to get fit. Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Arsenal winger Alex Iwobi suffered a quadriceps muscle strain injury few days before the Gunners faced West Brom, which ruled him out of the Premier League match. Iwobi was not involved in Nigeria's World Cup qualifiers against Cameroon due to injury, and the Nigeria Football Federation had to call up Aaron Samuel in place of the Hale End Academy product. And the same scenario may repeat itself if the former England U17 international is not declared fit by Arsenal medics in the coming days. Alex Iwobi has played only 240 minutes for the Gunners first team in all competitions so far this season, from a possible 810 minutes. Arsenal face BATE in the Europe League on Thursday, and it remains to be seen if the Super Eagle will be in their traveling party to Barysaw. Ifeanyi Emmanuel Photo Credit : arsenal.com |

Icon4s:I defer to your wizened opinions. Experience truly matters. Though the goodjoe's criteria is that the best should be chosen but omo experience matters. A talented player can be swallowed up by the novelty of a daunting game. Your leg go just heavy - it's not that you not talented. You not just experienced. I've always been on the side of experience but I go run follow indomie children (tongue in cheek) call for the talented Awaziem in the SA game. Both him and me hear am hot as I felt his upendedness in that game in my bones. Since then I am more cautious. A good team is one of balance where the players are talented as well as experienced. So this team is evolving and once it's core is established, fine tunings through inclusion of new players will be done gradually. |

If Balogun had made it to Brazil, don't you think his inexperience would have been exposed. But I hope you saw my sarcasm in that above statement. There is now a certain Junior Pius of Tondela. These so called inexperienced players that have talent should be given a chance in the absence of talented players. Team building should be a continuos process. It's a great thing to have Awaziem in the team. These will be the beasts if not in Russia, the period leading to Qatar. And their presence now in the team will help matters more in future. Modified It is for the same reason Gernot Rohr was trying to integrate Osimhen early. Mujtahida: |

Icon4s:My brother u ve said it all..We are all here for one purpose which is Super Eagles qualification to WC and good performance in d WC. Truly is a faceless forum but with people's post or comments,we are able to unmask ourselves either in age, religion or where we come from which shows is no longer a faceless forum. The maturity we always display here is going gradually and we need to take caution or else w lose it.This is not a place to show level but a place to interact, learn and make friends. |

Icon4s:I concur with whatsoever will bring peace. However, I don't think I am in the best position to be part of the reconciliatory committee because I don't have first hand information of what transpired btw the two parties, but you have my blessing. Thanks for considering me for this great tasks. Thanks |

Mickael2:Your views on our team is needed. Bitter medicine I guess but necessary and I can tell you that professionally I always looked at the weakness of our case (playing devil's advocate) scenario when we deliberate as a team and it does help. You are quite a perceptive person. It's said that solitary confinement is the worst form of punishment ever devised by human beings - not torture, not electric shocks etc. You will just go mad. Interaction is what saves us from the hell fires of insanity. Yes thus thing will happen again and again but it would be better if we try(like you have said you restrain yourself) to do without insults. And even if one is insulted it would be an act of grace to either ignore or to call the person's attention to it without going on a revenge spree. I like to think this is a team for all Nigerians, all lovers of our Super Eagles. Cheers |
