All talks and no actions. I wonder the kind of jazz that Northern Nigeria uses to make the Southern Nigeria to remain so disunited. If the two major ethnicities in Southern Nigeria can eradicate their ethnic dichotomy and work as a united South, then I see no reason this present system would continue to thrive. The South would have been miles away in terms of progressive growth. But we must remain marginalized because of our stupid ego. Yoruba and Igbo acrimony will continue to rob us all of our suspended intelligence. I must retreat now and wait for the slaves of the North to come blasting on all 8 cylinders. |

Gotze1:And if they dont want Nigeria restructured, what will anybody do? Restructuring is a waste of time, the North will never allow it. Which means that everyone will either have to accept Nigeria the way it is or become an 'Nnamdi Kanu' No two ways about it |

EazyMoh: if it is boring it should cause you to doze off not keep awake typing epistles. Like those who spend every waking minute talking about Ipob, secession and Kanu yet called it, them inconsequential.... I just can't put the two scenarios together. But we can understand the 'bold face' as we say. |

attackgat:Who are they? To me, I believe they are using southern fight to their advantage. If the south can unite and put their differences aside, they will successfully fight these people. Even if they will still fight later or won't do anything together. |

This was why every Nigerian needed Nnamdi Kanu. They said he preached hate against the Hausa-Fulani but that's just what it ought to be. The North West largely comprising the Hausa-Fulani ethnic majority have held Nigeria and Nigerians to a halt that nothing good happens in the country. Their position is that of a gross injustice and glaring inequality against other regions and groups and every single political move is an insult on the sensibilities and rights of other ethnic groups. The master plan was by the British and it's still working till today. It's an archaic status-quo. I bet, if Kanu had just dismantled that staunch hegemony which of course is jittery right now thanks to his dogged fight against it, and restructuring is done so as to enthrone justice and equity, he would end the Baifra agitation. The greatest enemy Nigeria faces is that hegemony. The rulership of Nigeria by illiterates at the expense of literates; of those who contribute virtually nothing taking the biggest chunk of the resources at the expense of those who produce virtually all. Hence, since no hard work is put at generating the revenue, it becomes free money that is squandered so frivolously. It's also, holding other region with higher pace of development down to measure your crawling pace of development with the pestilential, impure "Quota system." Hope Nigerians will get sense at last. |

I have always said that this restructuring talk will end up in press statements. It will never happen because the north does not want it. For it to happen, pressure must be applied to force the government to act and that will mean forming pressure groups. But then any attempt to do that will lead to "operation rat jump". The north owns this country and whatever the want is what will happen, others can make noise from now till when they are tired. |

I SECOND U, BRO quote author=yeyerolling post=60901142]Coming from a parasitic failure. The problem with nigerians is dat the elite/rulers know we are dumb so they keep fooling us. The 2019 election gimmick and promise wud be restructuring. Bt if it happens only the rulers go enjoy am. E.g in Lagos Tinubu grew the IGR in lagos but he set up alpha beta to do d collection. Alpha beta still collects 10-15% of lagos IGR. Dont be fooled. What we need is revolution[/quote] |

The North is in a parasitic relationship with the south. Any attempt to make it symbiotic (restructure) will kill the parasite. (source: GNS 101). |

The North has spent the last two decades breeding to get more population figures for more allocation, how do you expect it to feed all those parasites if you want restructuring |

That's my nigga! Yoruba elders are now talking. If you're a Yoruba and yet you oppose restructuring and you are not bothered that hausa fulani control our ports and water ways right here in our domain, then you're nothing but a f0000l and you need to have your head checked. |

Yet the same Ajimobi supported this APC. Deceit everywhere in this country. A day is coming very soon when all that have contributed in putting this country into this mess will know that enough is enough. Look at hunger everywhere in the land. The masses are suffering like never before. |

i dont really blame the north in not heeding the calls for restructuring, i blame our leaders in the south who allow the northerners to dictate for them. They southerners shud come together n speak in one voice n put pressure on the fed govt to do the needful. Boycotting fed executive council meetingn even stopping our finance commissioners to go to abuja for allocation committee meeting can also be adopted. If we keep making noise n think these northerners will restructure this country willfully when they know they will be affected gravely, then we need to act otherwise n make them also do our course. Enoughisenough |
