The Bible said, resisting the devil, we need to learn how to stand against the devil, if a thought comes at us, we are expected to take authority over it immediately. Jesus said, he has given us authority over the works of the enemy and nothing shall harm us. Many happen to pray instead of take authority in the face of temptation. Jesus said, watch and pray, lest you fall into temptation.

At an other place, he said, this kind goeth not, except by fasting and praying. Prayer and fasting makes us bold enough and spiritual strong or edified to stand.
