Mujtahida:just posting two wide-men to provide width does not always work. Their wing-forwards are young and they respond to instruction so they will occupy our wingers so that the fullbacks can maintain shape(which Cameroon lacked because their wing forwards thought they were big boys). I have no problem with any system the coach employs or the players(well maybe except Echejile and that my other guy ) |

Mujtahida:Are we really the ones under pressure? ...Kinda true though. But someone here once said if they refuse to come out, then just play around with d ball....lol |

TheGoodJoe:I dont wanna be seen as being antagonistic of your views but did Oliseh really fail? Save the match that we played in Tanzania where we drew and Chad that pulled out of the qualifiers, I dont really think we have anyone to blame but Siasia. Lets even assume that was siasia's first game in charge, same way it was with Oliseh only that there was gonna be enormous pressure. He drew at home and lost away. So if you ask me, Oliseh never failed. Siasia did! The excuse that they were not his team is a lame one. We could see how he prosecuted the 2nd leg left a lot to be desired. A make or mar match where he took out i think an attacker for a defender. Bringing in Iwobi late into the match. It was his boys he used in that match and we all saw what happened. |

goldfish80:We are talking of football ability that defensive midfielders can play ball. You goofed big time trying to make it look as if Roy Keane is not a baller. Big time goof. Simple. Matic said: "Everybody knows that Roy Keane is a legend of Manchester United - he was a very important player for a long time. "When I was young and started to follow football, he was at his best at Manchester and was one of the best midfielders in the league. |

TheGoodJoe:that means his first duty was to destroy attacks(players). Atleast I watched Roy and this your assumption that he was a balling genius is false, agreed he was a good footballer with the ball at his feet but hardly does he even show that ability because he is busy ruffling opposing teams |

TheGoodJoe:The footage was to show you he was a proper thug, a street brawler. I don't want to spam the thread by posting more videos. How many careers did Pirlo or Xavi end with such crunch tackle as exhibited by the footballing genius Roy Keane? You must answer this question oh! |

goldfish80:Please learn before you go and say this outside. Simple Roy Keane is a baller. Will you say because of Balotelli's bad attitude that he can not play ball? Accept you goofed. Take correction and move on. |

Certitude:That under pressure is a double edged sword as if if we win this match their whole sudden push will not be rendered flat. Moreover pressure does us good. Makes us pump unlike that SA game where we rested on the oars of history and got whipped. |

Mickael2:Please learn that when a player breaks down the opposition, the opposition has the ball. When his team has the ball, the ball, he is not breaking down attacks. If you will not listen to me, listen to Matic. Matic said: "Everybody knows that Roy Keane is a legend of Manchester United - he was a very important player for a long time. TheGoodJoe:I guess David Luiz career came to an end after this "tackle". I put it the parenthesis because this is a still image. Sometimes camera angles can exaggerate a situation. |

Mickael2:Omo at this rate every old player is a genius ooo. From legend to genius is a far stretch ooo. Abeg oo. Goodjoe and Joebie said Okocha is not fast yet on his Wikipedia page Okocha is described as 'quick and skillful'. Goodjoe don't say it's someone's opinion oo cos you just cited Matic's opinion to buttress your argument that Roy Keane is a genius (although Matic never said genius but legend) |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Mujtahida: 2:35pm On Oct 02, 2017 |
TheGoodJoe:A good player but not a genius. Genius means one of a kind. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 2:35pm On Oct 02, 2017 |
goldfish80:Move on. You goofed. Now you know Roy Keane was a good footballer. Trying to defend the goof led you to another goof. A career ending tackle does not mean Roy Keane could not ball well. He was a genius. Finito. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 2:38pm On Oct 02, 2017 |
Mujtahida:Roy Keane is one of a kind. If that is your definition of a genius. Alex Ferguson spent years trying to replace Roy Keane but he could not. That was why he was desperate for Mikel. He wanted Mikel to fill the void left by Roy Keane. He also tried Hargreaves but injury did not give Hargreaves the chance. So Keane is one of a kind. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by forgiveness: 2:38pm On Oct 02, 2017 |
Mujtahida:Honestly, I don't know who is better between the sticks hence my choice of Akpeyi. We are not under pressure to win, they are. So, I presume they will go for early goal to put us under pressure. So, I think we should defend in the 20 minutes of the first half and see what they're up to. While defending, we are also counter attacking with rapid speed. Those Zambians are faster than the Cameroonians. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 2:39pm On Oct 02, 2017 |
Mujtahida:Okocha relied on skills and not speed. It takes quickness of the feet to pull of tricks but Okocha did not need to out run players to beat them. |
