That is a different ball game. There are so many men with principles and financial discipline but can not put there families together.
So, whatever impression you want to put across is dead on arrival. I HATE buhari's person with great passion, but on that list, I will choose him still
Ypu arw correct. The only option awaiting apc come 2019 is explosion whether Buhari will contest or not.

This not a government but scam. People cant even afford to eat again. Purchasing power is low now.
You dey mind dem? Everyone knows Jonathan is a thief but are we supposed to kill ourselves because he stole?

For crying out loud, we should have moved on and seek for methods to improve our economy but no, we keep wasting the little resources we have on oil search in the North, it's not like these oil is even as valuable as before and worse, there's no oil in the North yet we keep wasting our little resources in the search of oil in the said place. I wouldn't mind if he was doing all this while we were buoyant but not when we're in a recession. We asked him to diversify the economy but what he could think of such diversification was more oil search. What nonsense!

A campaign promise isn't something clad on stone, it's like an estimate based on perception, you can't really tell till you are inside. The question is are they making an effort in that direction? I think yes. The heavy investment in agriculture which has improved our GDP is one example, increase tax drive to reduce dependence on oil is another and the massive investment in infrastructure that is highly needed is also a good sign. Can there be improvements? SURE but at least seeing efforts in that direction and results trickling in is a heartwarming experience

You don't need to question my comprehension ability to make your point, we all get more educated by constructive engagements.
Cheers
The person who made the promise is a former military head of state who has been trying unsuccessfully to get us to employ him through our votes for the job since 2003. Is that not true? So he was already inside. If he did not know what he was talking about then it shows that he is a dumb person. Except you are saying that he is a liar.
The same way he lied and continues to lie that he met an empty treasury yet he was junketing all over the world and gave bailout money to states. From where did all these funds come from? Magic or what?
As for agricultural development, he only continued what he inherited as Femi Adesina confirmed.

nawtyme:
Previous Govts Initiated ‘Most Of The Things This Administration Is Doing’ – Adesina

A majority of the projects the Muhammadu Buhari administration is working on was inherited from previous administrations, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity has said.

Mr Femi Adesina said this when he appeared on Channels Television’s special Independence anniversary programme on Sunday.

“Most of the things this administration is doing – 60 to 70 percent of them – were initiated by previous governments,” he said.

“That shows you that in the past a government will come and say ‘this is not our project’ And it will discard what was being done and start fresh ones.”

As a result, Mr Adesina said there are many half and quarter-completed abandoned projects.
But rather than abandon the project, he explained that the current administration will complete it.

An example is the Abuja-Kaduna rail project which the Presidential aide said was up to maybe 60 to 70 percent complete when the last administration left.

“This administration came, completed it and inaugurated it. Then you will still find some people shouting, ‘they are claiming credit for what the past administration started,” he said.

“It shows there is a mentality in Nigeria that makes governments not want to complete what previous governments have started. But this administration is not going that way at all, it is just doing what needs to be done for the good of the country.”

Another example is the Mambilla power project, which has been in the works since 1972, but has now started taking shape under this administration.

In going about its activities, Mr Adesina said the Federal Government follows due process in the awarding of contracts, stressing that projects worth above N50m will require the permission of the Federal Executive Council before such a contract can be awarded.

“One thing this government does scrupulously is to follow due process in the award of all these contracts and projects.

“Anything that is above N50m must come to the Federal Executive Council. Before the FEC will endorse any project or contract, the Bureau of Public Procurement must have signed off on that project that it is worthy to be done and the projections are good, that this government does not joke about.”

The annoying part is everyone knows Jonathan stole money and the reason why he was butted out of office. So what else did he want us to do when we've done our own part by butting out the clueless Jona? We've done our part and now, it's time for Buhari to do his own part and show the people why they voted him in.

It's the time for Buhari to show us why he was voted into office.. This is not the time for blame game but a time to show us his own capacity. Show us new innovative ideas as regards to our crippling economy and ways to curb this mess, not the constant wailing over some stolen money 'cos nobody stopped you from arresting these thieves. Abegi..

Has corruption stopped now? No oil in Benue or Sokoto basin that is of commercial value. I can lay my certificate on ground. It is very pathetic youth can open their eyes to bring this government of np direction. 2019 is coming, same mistake may be made.

Who was cheering the great buffon? You think everyone is morally corrupt as you folks? I don't belong to any party and I never supported the yam stealing Jona but that won't me stop from labelling Buhari administration as a clueless regime. No single innovation nor invention from him. All we keep hearing is his constant wailing over stolen money, that's when he's not on a sick bed.

Now tell me, what did he want us to do about the stolen money? To kill ourselves because the buffoon Jonathan stole money? Abegi.. As if he's not wasting the little we have over stupid oil search in the North and on his health.

Try to read up on the current agricultural revolution ongoing around the country. That might to an extent answer your question
Cheers
Agricultural revolution started by Jonathan with Adesina whose work was internationally recognised and rewarded with AfDB president?
Are you joking?
Or are you seriously joking?
Even Buhari's fellow northerners know that he is a liar and an illiterate with no vision.

fulaniHERDSman:
A second Republic lawmaker, Junaid Muhammed, has berated President Muhammadu Buhari’s October 1 speech.

Muhammed said the speech was “not realistic,” adding that some of the claims made by Buhari with regards to his policies were not true.

The Northern elder noted that if Buhari was articulate, the speech would have been an “avenue to mobilise and regain the confidence of the people.”

Speaking with Punch, Muhammed said, “Frankly speaking, the speech is not realistic. There is nothing and there was nothing meant to be spectacular or unique about the speech of the 57th anniversary.

“It is celebratory. Where we have a leader who is articulate or is in a firm control of the government, the speech could have been an avenue to mobilise and regain the confidence of the people.

“As far as I am concerned, there is nothing in the speech to energise, galvanise or persuade me.

“The government muddled up a speech that should be about matters of national importance with personal reminiscences of being a young officer. This romantic lamentation does not have a place in this speech.

“Some of the claims the President made were clearly dishonest. For example, he claimed that his agricultural policies have been a success. As far as I am concerned, that cannot be true because I don’t even know the policies.

“If I don’t, I am sure millions of other Nigerians don’t know too. When you see the functionality of a policy, you know it is working.”

Then we should all advocate for every president to spend 8 years then. A neutral would argue that if things go wrong in the first two years, that means the populace will have to endure 6 more torrid years. I'm sure you may not fancy Atiku and GEJ but it will be interesting to know your opinion about either of them ruling the country for 8 years too.
I am not imposing my advocacy on any one,am I?

It is not every president that deserves 8years.The situation could be so TERRIBLE that only an immediate change of government is required.

However in PMB/PYO,I see integrity andsincerity of purpose.

That is why I always laugh at those who criticizes Baba's speech.

[quote author=Billyonaire post=61031278]I will follow the Parable of the Sowers on this One.

I will give it, NOT to Jonathan, it might be stolen from him, and he has no idea how to multiply my wealth.

I will give it, NOT to Buhari, I am sure it will not be stolen from him, but then he has no idea how to multiply my wealth.

I will give it to Atiku, it will not be stolen from him and he sure knows how to multiply wealth and generated huge Returns on Investments.

Having tested Jonathan and Buhari, it is time to understand that Nigerians must put my dear friend, Atiku on that seat.

If you love the Bible, then you should love the Parable of the Sowers.

Peace and Love, friends. Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant. This is why I follow you on Nairaland Sir. I'm a fan smiley

I like to look at both sides of the coin really.

Those who lost families to the BH killings during the
last administration would appreciate what PMB is doing right now.

However, a regular Igbo person may not be too pleased about the current administration based on the way the secession issue is being handled. That kind of person may not necessarily see in your perspective.

All I want to see in Nigeria is an all inclusive governance devoid of tribal/religious dissent.
