Xiaomi's CEO Lei Jun celebrated an important milestone – the company shipped over 10 million phones in September. This is the first time the company has shipped so many units in a single month.

One in ten phones shipped last month were sold over the course of two days in India – the venerable Redmi Note 4 leading the charge. Both Flipkart and Amazon saw strong sales (boosted, undoubtedly, by Diwali).

This shows that the company is getting back on track after shipping 70 million phones in 2015 but dropping to 58 million in 2016. Things are looking up for the 2017 total.

Will join the Xiaomi family before the end of this month by the grace of God. Ordered for Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X yesterday through a trusted agent. Should arrive in two weeks but will probably take 3 weeks because of the Chinese Holiday.

I seriously can't wait cool cool cool

Since alot if us here uses UC browser, pls don't update to the latest one o. It's just bad.
Is slow, returning to previous stage buffers like u just reopening it, it crashes, it can't keep size settings, and it can't retain opened pages, it will either crash or reopen it with internet connection. So annoying... Will downgrade soonest...

The little tweaks made to it are just a no no for me
have you tried "fastest mini browser" by xman,is free on google play store

YES, you can. I've recovered a fully formatted 500GB HDD like twice, thumb drives n SD is uncountable!!!
NB: I don't rely on memory cards/inbuilt phone storage anymore for important docs, I upload to my Google drive as a backup and another external drive as backup 2.
to upload to Google drive no be beans oh talk more of redownloading it...mb no easy to get like that oh

No! You're already on Nougat, just download the recovery ROM and install via updater.
Once downloaded, move it to a new folder at the storage root and name the folder "downloaded_rom". Go to updater, collapse the drop down button and select "choose update package" go to the "downloaded_rom" and select the file. You'll need a WiFi to verify the package else, make your updater have access to your data for connectivity.

am mine to extract the files from zip folder after the rename? am getting error of it can't verify update. u are allow to flash the newest develop version by MIUI forum from stable version only

Settings - battery - manage apps' battery usage - choose apps - select the apps you don't want to force close - No restriction.

You don't extract the zip file, you do it, you get it corrupted.

Use security app to clean. If you are not satisfied, just lock the app you need to keep running ( tap the left button to multi-task, then swipe down to lock).
