Rawani, the biggest insult today is trying to compare the North with the SE because it makes the SE looks like Gulliver trying to avoid ttrampling on Northern Lilliputians |
| Re: Is It True That The Richest Want To Create Their Own Paradise Country? by Rawani: 11:48am On Oct 03, 2017 |
Mujaheeeden:Go through my thread and check out Kaduna. If you don't recognize any of those places/areas then be assured that you've been living in rural Kaduna. https://www.nairaland.com/1945471/true-face-north Mujaheeeden:Of course the only states the SE can compare with are the war ravaged NE states, and you rightly said that the only time the SE experienced that level of unproductivity was during its war. As for the rest of the northern states (North West and North Central), they are far more productive than the SE states as the internally generated revenue figures show below.

Akissani: ![]() Those folks have an ingrained superiority complex (which is scientifically proven to be a curtain to hide a deep inferiority complex) that can easily be shattered once you ignore their insults and pummel them with facts and figures. |

Really Mr Rawani? I stand to be corrected that north is still the only region in the entire country still battling polio, how about a state governor coming out to say an epidemic outbreak is a plague from God to purnish people. Mr Igr, The emir of kano who has better access to your so-called statistics has even come out severally to say the north is the poorest part of nigeria barring your pie charts and statistics so quit deluding yourself and face the reality on ground. |
| Re: Is It True That The Richest Want To Create Their Own Paradise Country? by Rawani: 12:09pm On Oct 03, 2017 |
iyketex007:Not just the Emir, but I myself have admitted on this thread that poverty is more prevalent in the North than anywhere else for certain indisputable reasons. For your information, the National Bureau of Statistics is the ONLY recognized source for IGR data so both I and the Emir are working with the same data. I just wish you folks would read my posts first before jumping in my mentions. Rawani:The issue here is not poverty index but output and productivity of states, and internal revenue generation statistics show that every other region is more productive than SE states by far, except the boko haram ravaged NE. It seems the problem is that most of you jumping in my mentions don't understand the concept of IGR and what it connotes and that's why you're raising irrelevant and unnecessary arguments. |

Rawani:OK, let's return to the main topic of the thread, Is it human to have a richest country separated apart from the poorest country as many agitation indicated today? |
| Re: Is It True That The Richest Want To Create Their Own Paradise Country? by Rawani: 12:49pm On Oct 03, 2017 |
Adetewa:Nope, and that's why the agitations have mostly been failures or frustrated, like the Catalans recently. |
| Re: Is It True That The Richest Want To Create Their Own Paradise Country? by Adetewa(op): 1:01pm On Oct 03, 2017 |
Rawani:good! I think if the richest of the world of today think they can no longer share the same country with the poorest, then they can have their own SN(separated Nation) like UN, relocated to Planet MASS and leave the poor with this planet Earth because we can't accept them to turn us to slave. |

You have proven nothing other than the fact you are an illiterate. Nothing in your posts or comments proves you are better educated than I am. You can blab jazz for all I care. NBS indeed! Sorry, you are the one who looks stupid with low IQ. You accept such statistics when it favors you. During Gej's admin, did you ever accept same statistics that also said Nigeria was the nation with the highest GDP in africa even when the world accepted it. Well your NBS statistics means nothing to me. SE has the highest igr in Nigeria. Now,take a gun and shoot yourself in the head, before doing that, you can also come and beat me in my house. Well, you can call them whatever you like, but you,i and the rest of the world knows who needs help. I think it was a British diplomat who said even if the south stands still, the north would still need 130years to catch up.go figure. abdelrahman: |

Fulani herdsmen killed people in church and you are using it as a yard stick to measure what? ![]() Your accused (so called drug baron) has been going up and down in Nigeria and your Nigeria police has been looking helpless, and you want me to believe your Nigerian bureau of statistics. Naa. 'If the south stands still, it will take northern Nigeria 130years to catch up educationally' ---british diplomat. now go figure. Rawani: |

Rawani:Am just back from work to see you battling with everyone online ever since. I believe you have other things that keeps you busy. I pointed facts I meet on ground, all pictures you posted are found in Kano city, am talking about the other local governments, the interior. If you don't believe me take a trip like 45km away from the metropolitan city and starts counting numbers of aluminum roofing sheets you comr across. On the issue on Internally generated revenue, let me be frank with you that with the set of arrangement on ground no state is immune to shocks apart from Lagos, PH, akwa Ibom, Ogun.... No state are immune all are owning pile up of salaries to contractors and state civil service. On the issue of Biafra, you calling BIAFLA is just like throwing insult on the average igbo man on the street just like when one mentioned moslem instead of muslim.. How would you feel? Biafra is a spirit among the igbos. It's of my openion that the nation has become too tensed up based on the mindless utterances of our leaders, during the time of Obasanjo, Yaradua, GEJ, Abacha, IBB it was not so. I believe there is no love between the North and Southern part of Nigeria, oil is the binding factor and once it becomes irrelevant in 5ys to come the unity will become shaky. Countries are now moving away from hybrid cars to electronics powered cars, in less than 10years oil will be useless, USA, China, India, EU have already set targets for it. The amount of sufferings and hardship Nigerians will experience then will be little compared to what we experienced between 2016 to 2017. Let's restructure and allow states to be competitive, let's know those that are viable and those that are parasitic with no innovation. The issue of come to Abuja and collect monthly allocation should be abolished as it will take us no where. Most state governor doesn't have any idea how to run their state, some are only there to loot, not some almost all state governor. |

3html:Baba this matter tire me oo,the north is everything he is saying and yet the go haywire the moment the word restructure is mentioned. Imagine a gworo selling malam with 4 wives and 18 children, how on earth can that man be able to raise up such kids if not to push them out to the streets, high Igr or not yet the constitute the bulk of total debt ratio in Nigeria barring the numerous bailout funds and Paris refunds. Even the emir I used to hold in high esteem only for him to take a 13 year old as a bride even with his so-called level of education and then the President came out to say his wife belongs to the kitchen. Let the north keep the Igr while the real development takes place in the south. |

Rawani:Oga stop boasting about IGR that ends up in the pocket of a few greedy politicians. I understand your frustrations but pls know it that the best igr that one can really boast of in Nigeria of today is human capital development and that is where you will find the Igbos. When government begins to function well like they do in other countries we can then talk much about igr. For now, keep am one side abeg. I dont have time to boast over monies that are continually being looted by a few greedy men called politicians. Even the IGR you are boasting of in the North is generated through the effort of the Igbos and other people living in the north. Not only your people. Your Arewa said that over 5 million Igbos are living in the north. Of course you know they are paying their taxes and other revenues being charged which constitute part of your igr. For me as a person i value the igr in the north which comes out of hard work of the farmers there and the other people than the one of the niger delta which comes out of the hardwork of foreign companies and people from other parts of Nigeria and some of their people too while most of their youths lazy about. Having said that, let me ask you this- Why is the north heavily kicking against restructuring even with your so called huge igr? Why is it that the igbos that you accuse of low igr are in suppport of restructuring? Its not enough for you to come here and be talking anyhow,a lot of your people are engulfed in poverty so you dont need to pretend about it pls Igbos are not perfect but not that the north is doing better than us in terms of self development. You can still carry on with your porous defence here and there if that makes you happy. |

Rawani:I believe state that want out should be allowed to do so through a referendum, like Scotland and Sudan.well 45% voted in Catalonia on October 1st,and 90% voted they want an independent state.the regional governor said he will send the result to the regional parliament, from there we shall know the steps that will be taking. It's either the government of Spain respect the wish of the Catalonian people or what happened between Ireland and England will happen there. As for Nigeria, I support the total dissolution of this country |

1bunne4lif: the guy is funny the way he is bragging about IGR. Today we heard a report of the 26 billlion dollars contract illegally awarded by the GMD of NNPC. That money is part of the IGR he is bragging about. The one the Deziani stole are part of it. The one that Bode George stole are part of it. The ones that Dasuki wasted are part of it and many more out there. He really has time to waste on Naija IGR issue. |

honourhim: 1bunne4lif:... And where do you think the statistics printed on paper were gotten from? The moon? After reading through this thread you have not reasoned that it's the Nigerian Bureau for Statistics that publishes those figures? SMH for you. Accurate, scientific and systematic gathering of "facts on ground " (i.e revenue generation values from each economic sector of each state including taxes) through data collection and analysis and the subsequent result is what is "printed on paper." It is used for national planning and forecasts for a variety of functions, and indicates the capacity of the state government to execute meaningful capital projects and meet her recurrent obligations like interest on debt repayments. Where IGR is mismanaged, it's mainly due to poor leadership, but it does not rule out how critical a healthy IGR profile is to development. For instance, the Kwankwaso led Kano state government just a few years ago, successfully completed a landmark project which is the longest fly over bridge in West Africa (shown below) which was 100% funded using the states IGR, which meant that there was no need for tolling or any deceptive BOT agreement with any funny foreigner, and most importantly there was no need WAITING and BEGGING the FG to carry out the important project. Same goes for the magnificent North-West University in Kano (shown below) and many other state IGR funded projects like the Kwankwassiya Estate. As for human capital which you claimed is abundant in the SE and is more significant than IGR (as if it's not part of what fuels IGR ), how exactly has it developed Aba from the squalor it is last time I checked? How has it helped in building roads, bridges and curbed erosion across the South East? Why are you still BEGGING for FG projects and still screaming marginalization and underdevelopment? Think and be objective instead of being sentimental and full of emotions. If the SE states worked on and had up to or more than Kanos IGR, they would have been able to jointly build the 2nd Niger bridge ages ago, instead of WAITING and BEGGING endlessly for the FG to build it. That is just one illustration of the significance and use of the IGR and IGR data that you guys are desperately and hilariously trying to ridicule. I honestly think it's highly foolish to claim that Ibos are contributing hugely to the IGR of northern states while they allow their states to wallow in underdevelopment, and ironically YOU think it's a point to brag about . If there's anyone frustrated Mr. Honourhim, it's you S-Easterners that are constantly crying of marginalization and lack of government infrastructure. Think about it. You guys are finding it very hard to accept the fact that you're the second least productive region in the entire country and it's frankly hilarious, the parasite label you like throwing around has come back to hit you right in the face ![]()
