To be sincere with you...am a Christian and I stopped paying tithe 5 years ago when I realise is not biblical...during this period I got married, gave birth to 2kids bought several landed properties, build a house, bought land for my wife, do foundation on it etc. to be sincere with you stop wasting your money, there are people that need this money on the street and around you.

Malachi 3:10 was addressed to Levites (descendants of Levi, a son of Jacob) referencing their Jewish laws. It baffles me how some Christians threaten people up and down with passages that do not even concern Christians to say the least, all in the bid to extort money.

This is half truth. Please permit me to use Abraham to illustrate my point. When God called him in genesis 12 and promised him great blessings, it was totally free of charge. When Abraham paid his tithe to Melchizedek the high priest of God in chapter 14: 19, he received further blessings and in chapter 22 when he offered Isaac his son to God, He further blessed him.

Another case is Solomon, after he offered thousands of animals to God, GOD appeared to him that night and asked him to specifically choose how he wanted to be blessed.

Some blessings will come naturally, some will come as a result of one's gift to God

fam I would just advice that u read ur bible more often nd if I might add. Jesus he redeemed us from the law. We live under grace. Therefore we don't have to bother bout what laws are broken but to strive to live righteously everyday. So its a continuous process not a state.

There is no mandatory and legalized issues of money in Christianity. There is a place for rejection and non submission of offerings when one's conscience is not clear concerning quarrel with a brother and forgiveness has not been made. In otherwords, somebody can come to Church with an offering and God does not delight in it because of certain unsettled wickedness. Unlike Give and bring money, make it big offering -gang of Bishops.
It is not all about 'bring money anyhow and reap double' false gospel.
Giving should be as a man proposed in his heart under no coercion, obligations or compulsion. There are no fixed percentages, no registers and cards for giving. #Say No to Commerce in the Church.

Unfortunately, you can't produce any Bible passage to support what your Business Centers and the presiding CEOs do.
To make it easier for you since you can't find the 'express', get a passage that implied that Jesus went about demanding for tithes or a passage that implied that Peter and Paul went around Churches asking for 10% of people's wages.

Have you bothered to read Malachi from the beginning to see whom God was addressing? James 2:10 tells us that "whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all."

As for me, the death of Christ on Calvary has liberated me from the bondage of the Law. His Death fulfilled the prophesies and ushered me into a New Covenant. A Covenant that is based on unconditional love of God for me. The Old Covenant was a conditional contract between God and the children of Israel. He blessed them only when They loved Him and He punished them when they turned away from Him. But the New Covenant is God's unconditional love for us. He does not need our money or blood sacrifices to bless us.

Giving to God your all shouldn't be a problem if Jesus and God gave His all for you. He said give and it shall be given back to you.. So it does show that your giving is a big condition for financial blessings.. There are spiritual blessings and physical ones that are based on what YOU DO not only on what HE DID.. You have to grow up even beyond 10%
