Ordinarily there would be no need for this comparison, camera specs wise.
because, the CX has greater megapixels.
But then, I have heard so much of how tecno's CX pales in comparison to Note 4, despite all that. So I really wanted to see stuff for myself and I can honestly say that I think otherwise. I do not really think of any as a winner. If any, then it would be by very slight margins.

I was given the impression that I would throw away Camon CX if I touch Note 4. I have to admit that Note 4 packs stuff that makes the device interesting. I still love my Camon CX none the less and there are reasons, cogent reasons why I would not trade it for a Xiaomi note 4.

There are also reasons why I would not trade Note 4 with CX.

So, for me, they are both great devices really. but I'm inclined to Love CX more.

You see , GSM patents have all been taken up by Nokia, erricson, Psion, Motorola so much so that no company can manufacture phones without paying royalties and patents grants to especially Nokia and Ericson.

On the touch screen capacitive font, Apple and to an extent Samsung has gotten lots of patents too. So many companies cannot cope with these requirements.

That's why Tecno is address-less, with no clear origin.

Back in the days when there was no android or iOS phones, except for Symbian, Chinese clone phones filled Africa and some of their nameless phones with no address were also here without being in Europe.

One of those phones rebranded into Tecno.

Do you doubt me? Then go look at the UX and UI of Tecno phones that aren't android, you will see it's exactly same thing as those nameless Chinese phones in those days which were written and sold spelling Nokia as Nokla.

Do you know how yet to be released phones are leaked to the press? I will tell you. Before any phone company makes any new models in Europe or US, they send the specification, radio frequency, Bluetooth, wireless range to the FCC in US and the EU regulatory body in Europe. After these are confirmed the phones are then manufactured with the stipulated specifications and sold. That's how they come into EU or US and get listed.

Gsm journalists, writers, reviewers then get a copy from these agencies to know what each individual companies are about to release to the public. Or where GSM technology is headed.

So they don't list Tecno because Tecno isn't applying to FCC or the EU body about its models. They can't meet International standards and specifications.

They are just hiding in Nigeria with panels from substandard Chinese market and coupling them here.

The FCC and EU regulatory bodies are the gateway to a global brand and Tecno, a company not bold enough to put its main corporate address on the pack of its phone dare not sell beyond the stupid boarders of Nigeria where anything goes.

Global brands by definition are brands that are recognized throughout much of the world, Tecno isn't one.
Tecno phones are Chinese but Tecno don't sell their products in China, Asia or anywhere in the world except Africa.

Initially they wanted to compete globally but after a thorough research by the company in 2008, (((TECNO STOPPED DOING BUSINESS IN ASIA to EXCLUSIVELY FOCUS ON AFRICA.)))

So Tecno is an African brand not a global, even my sister Mizmycoli knows this.


@Mycoli, a nice review you have here. Please I want you to know something, I have viewed the pictures here with many devices and I have come to realize that everybody commenting on this post is right.

Thing is, some people won't get your review simply because their phones have poor display so they don't know the difference between washed pictures, over exposed pictures, noisy pictures, detailed pictures or whatever.

I was browsing with a Midrange phone when I saw the thread and the pictures all looked same, so I switched over to a full HD and started noticing the details, it became even better when I viewed it with a q HD. Everything became different.

So everyone is rating based on what he or she is seeing on his or her screen and you can't blame them because it isn't their fault, it is the low pixel of their phone screen that is to be blame.

Are you aware that xiaomi can't sell certain phones in the West ? Why? Because they don't meet the requirements. That is why they are called substandard.
