Daejoyoung:Watch it very well and you will know he was offside He didn't have to be out and out offside cuz he was inches ahead of the last defender and the lineman got it spot on |

TheGoodJoe:Balogun had 3 tackles & 3 interceptions Echiejile had 5 tackles & 5 interceptions, his problem was just being slow & didn't offer much going forward. |

fare share of 50-50? Can't remember him in a one-on-one situation. it was always 3 to 1, or 2 to 1. He always had support. BascoVanVeli: |

Iwobi wasn't offside.. The replays were done, and even the commentator attested to it. Iwobi timed his run perfectly oloriooko: |

safarigirl:I believe Onyekuru is a better striker than Tammy. I hope Rohr gives Onyekuru a shot in the Algerian game. |

elyte89:thank u the first half was a mess. Honestly I don't know how some people watch football. Leon played the man onside for the goal that was ruled off and he also got manhandled when Zambia missed a sitter around 30mins. |

denniece1:Comparing a CB and LB.... False equivalency.. They attacked through the wings so he was involved a lot in the game. Wha A better comparison will be with Shehu. How many times was Elderson outpaced, dribbled.. How many times did he lose the ball? |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by chrisooblog: 10:51pm On Oct 07, 2017 |
Joebie:Spot on ratings shehu, ekong, balogun, Mikel, vicmo put up a real warriors performance, Zambians were great but I'm concerned with how they almost over ran our midfield in Russia we will face better midfielders rohr definitely needs to reinforce that area. Elderson yes will go to the world cup but no way should he be a starter |

denniece1:Echiejile's problem is the gap he leaves when he goes forward. He is solid defensively but when he goes forward, he contributes less to the attack, misplaces passes, poor in delivering crosses. So when he is forward, he becomes a liability to the team. He is also slow in tracking back. |

elyte89:That is something goes on here. Selective criticisms. The talk about Echiejile as the worst player on the pitch today is so amusing. Leone Balogun had a bad game especially in the first half. Dude was so slow in marking out his opponent and also slow in the build up of play. Troost Ekong, just also like occasionally against Cameroon made one silly clearance that almost cost us a goal. If it were Onazi, Echiejile or Omeruo that made those passes we for no hear word here. Despite Onazi's contributions in the first 20+ minutes he played some are still scoring him 5/10 for those minutes. We have our favorite players and the opposite as well but we should be fair in making our judgements. |

yes that was definitely offside. At the that very key moment the ball was passed, he was ahead of our defense line. World Class decision by the referee. That decision was a close one, but spot on. It could have gone either way. oloriooko: |

Are you sure you watched that game? Echejille was the weak link. Unnecessary back pass to keeper. He has been marked out as our weak link. Zambia build their play through his wing most times. Leon had to cover him up on some occasions and that almost exposed the middle. Watch the match again it's showing now on Supersport BascoVanVeli: |

Think am na. After he has shown us that high level, it's expected he either maintains it or improve. It's a good expectation to want a better performance in Russia for our team. I'm sorry he's performance have not been awesome lately. That's not how I understand that word. Kog45: |

EVERYONE knows i've been on this Echiejile case long. Today even our opponents have all noticed it. I no go blow my trumpet sha o. But I will so love to advise Rohr for free. When everyone is saying he is the weak link some of you are seeing something else. I wonder if na another match una watch. I've noticed his deficiencies long even when it did not seem apparent. Wrong. Few times Leon was exposed was because he had to cover Echejile's error elyte89: |
