What modem are you using? They've been touting this dual band modem of recent that it gets both of their bands (incase I need to change my modem as well for better speed). I use E5776.

I literally still cannot get more than 120kbps in spurts.

As in tht 1mbps you people complain about is like a mirage.

Tried different devices and locations.


Only conclusion is that I'm permanently throttled.

i find that to get good performance, i have to use google dns

Hello guys, I've been using ntel with an unlocked Huawei B310s swift modem but lately when connected to other systems it stops going until I restart the modem. I've complained to ntel countless times and they insist all is well with location from which I'm using it. Could the modem be causing the issue or could this be a dns issue as well like oyb said?

And is there anyone who has an ntel ZTE router to dispose?

I'm in Abuja. My brother, that charges is the issue. I did the 22GB plan for N10,000 as it seems buying higher plans from them is now cheaper than buying from SME resellers. They sold me I was going to get 100% data bonus for 3 months as I just purchased their Mifi two days ago but I only got 20%.

It was 100% data bonus when I got mine for some months but reverted back to status quo. The charges is on another level but the speed is the best at the moment

lucky you. I couldn't use mine after testing them,it only worked averagely for a day and stopped working even with full 4g signal. Maybe I will try it tomorrow with the #500 2days night browsing to ascertain the performance before wasting my money.

What i have come to understand is NTEL works better with location. I have never had full bar and my average speed during the day is around 500kb/s to 1mb/s.

Then at night.. its something else..

I get angry only because the movies and series i leave on my torrent each night is always ready the next morning and am left with nothing to download.
I recently started downloading for a lot of peeps., just to keep my torrent busy at night..


This same NTEL works with lesser speed down the same street at a friends place. So its all about location
