when you switch your system on, immediately press F9 to change boot device order.in the next menu that shows, use the arrow keys on your keyboard to navigate to your internal hard drive.
Then press "enter"
You can also try this, when you switch on the system, immediately press F10 to go to BIOS menu. once the menus comes up, press f10 again to load default setup options. Then press enter.

Let me know of your results

You can't keep asking questions and expecting answers when you have not done what you were told to do.
I posted some solutions for you and you didn't reply to tell me how you have gone

Good morning guys,
I need a replacement screen for my Lenovo Ideapad 100 15IBY, well not just the screen, the entire top half.
The laptop fell and now the screen has parallel lines on it, the screen plastic case is cracked and the hinge is damaged.

Good morning
Please just few days ago while I was watching a movie, I noticed that my laptop screen started to misbehave. I mean it was blinking and for a while it stopped but later on started again.
The worst case at present is that when you press the power on button the screen will just show light and go dark immediately as if the system is shut down but other keyboards lights will be showing.
Please what is cause of such and how to solve it? It is HP 6730b.
Thanks

if that is the case, the issue is either with your hard drive or the operating system.

You need a technician to do further troubleshooting for you.

When you power it on, the screen will display as if it is booting but will immediately go dark completely but the keyboards lights will be showing as normal.

Sorry, I gave wrong information earlier on though I didn't notice it. This night I powered on the laptop and like I previously said, it shows light then went dark. I just looked through the side of the laptop and noticed that it was displaying something background. I even installed new windows this night but after everything the screen is still dark while something is being displayed background.
Thanks

thats why i said u should point a touch light on it to check if it display character.

there are 2 things involve here.

1. The signal cable

or

2. The screen is not getting the required signal to the backlight.

Take it to a laptop engineer to help u solve the problem

Good morning, whenever I put on my laptop, it makes a loud persistent noise and stops after a while... What could be the cause

Most likely your keyboard is bad. So get a technician to help you remove the keyboard and confirm it is faulty.

All you need to do is replace it.

If it is responding to Caps lock and not coming on screen, it's either your screen is bad or it's backlight is bad. In either case, see a technician to help you out.
