Andela is back with its ALC (Andela Learning Community) programme but the programme is now offering more courses. The programme sponsored by Google in partnership with Udacity now offers Web design, Product design and Android development. This is a chance to learn programming from world class tutors while interacting with people from all over the country.

ALC 1.0 was all about android programming but 2.0 includes web design, product design and of course android development. It's a remote training; 3 months. No experience is required for the beginner courses. But for the intermediate courses, you will submit a project as part of your application. So experience is required for the intermediate courses

That's cool. I just started Javascript recently. I don't know how to go about the test. But I'll learn node soon. Hopefully I'd be done in time to do the assessment

Kk I currently use angularjs (hacked version) and expressjs add me on Whatsapp 08105460858 so we could share ideas on how to build the platform

I would advice you host with AWS. Amazon has servers (web and database) that are eligible for free tier.

Why are you using a hacked version of Angular? Last time I checked, it's Open Source.

lol I know it's open source that's why its possible for me to actually hack it and use it publicly with no legal issues.

D hack is not a hack per say before angular 2 came out I was using angular js and a lot of stuff that readily comes bundled with angular2 typescript does not come like that.

So the angularjs I use has a truckload of stuff that helps me work faster

okay would give it a trial, thanks am more familiar with Digital ocean but sadly no free tier.

The only thing digital ocean does is to simply the creation of a server. With AWS, you only need to create an AMI (Amazon Machine Image) once. Once you have everything all set up the way you want, you can save that Image and spin it off later with the clicks of a few buttons.

But getting that first setup up and running is what a lot of people run from

Ok. A lot of people visit github and download what ever seems interesting to them without really knowing how to put those little extra nifty features to use. Just wanted to be sure you are not one of them

I applied for the web design - intermediate but couldn't do the assessment. I then applied again for web designer - beginner and scored 75% in the assessment.
