What does joker mean? Some people will take it as if Rohr was boasting about Moses.
We need to do better with analyzing stories.

Any team that focuses on Moses will pay dearly.

Modified
Keshi didn't need to boast about Onazi... Some things are just obvious even during match-time analysis.
That's exactly what I understood about the joker thing oo

let the boy play for England u-21 cos that's what he wants

iwobi never wanted to play for England

he stated it clearly that Nigeria is where his heart lies

finito
You'll just be arguing for argument sake. Hear you:Iwobi NEVER wanted to play for England as if you were in his mind.
Having played through the ranks of the youth teams in England you think he never fancied his chances with the Three Lions? And why was he reluctant (according to his father) to come to Nigeria upon his invitation.
And where did he say he NEVER wanted to play for England? Any source?

Joebie:
@ jotey
you may read the entire article.. But consider this, Iwobi was quoted -- "loved" I will look for the original story that january:

Ok, perhaps there is a bit of self-interest here from Wenger when playing for England would mean Iwobi not disappearing mid-season every couple of years for the Africa Cup of Nations. Yet Iwobi said himself in January that he would have “loved” to play for England and it would be intriguing to know why the FA did not try harder to make it happen before Friday’s cutoff point.

Jotey @the bolded word- So much for Iwobi saying he NEVER wanted to play for England

“ I just came (to Nigeria ) and I had food
poisoning but I was able to continue
training the next day. I’ ve always
wanted to represent Nigeria because
that ’s where my family’s from , that ’s
where I’ m from and this is where I feel
comfortable playing for . It’ s a personal
decision and I’m happy to be here,”
Iwobi said after Saturday evening ’s
training session with the Eagles.

However, the player disclosed to Punch
that he has never contemplated for the
Three Lions, adding that he is happy to
play for Nigeria.

I just re-read the rules and October 2017 rankings would be used. However, what you posted is September rankings that are still active IN October. However, the October rankings would be released on October 16. That's the one that would be used and things could and would change. Spain could move up, Poland may still stay up cos of their wins etc

God bless you my brother... I will never blame Tammy moreover Tammy never rejected us...
One thing we have forgotten is that.. Tammy is part of U21 and U20 of England... Core member I must say whereas iwobi and Aina... Are just there with nobody calling them...
Tammy switch is kind dicey seriously and I don't see England losing him without a fight.. Just painful AmajuPinnick blew everything up cos of politics but I see him playing for us.. Vic Moses is involve now, iwobi and Aina is also involve too. And their parent is also part of it.. I was reading from Owngoal when iwobi father said they should come and see themselves . This will really have alot of influence of him...

We should stop abusing foreign born player... They have never felt Nigeria... If could remember first time of iwobi in Nigeria with pepper soup in saga.. grin Do you remember when everyone was shouting food poisoning...
We should give him a chance that's just it

And I believe most of us will do worse if we find ourself in Tammy position...

Sorry for bringing politics...

I was reading biography of Raymond dokpesi the owner of AIt and ray power...

He studied abroad.. First Class in both Bsc and Msc.. The then head of state general Obansojo spotted him after his Msc convocation... And ordered him to return to Nigeria with immediate effect.. I bet you Chief Raymond find it hard to return even though he had his primary and secondary school in Nigeria... The then head of state need to do alot of taking for him to return home with some position to handle before he later yielded...
We won't do worse. We will just reject Nigeria outrightly notwithstanding our connection with the country now. Make them give Nigerians choice between remaining a Nigerian citizen and to switch. No need for me to tell you the outcome.
But when it comes to those foreign born weighing their choices we'd want to crucify them. Hypocrites!!!

Exactly!! Iwobi's Dad said Iwobi was a bit reluctant to come to Nigeria when he received call up from Nigeria but that he told the young man that they should travel to Nigeria to see for themselves cos of the negative things they had heard.

I am not keen about foreign born players but about the best for the Eagles, however I do understand in a little way that such decisions are not easy to make.

Goodjoe gave an analogy of a girl putting one guy on hold just to see if the one she has her eyes on would marry her. But that's a very imperfect analogy so long as he failed to factor in the fact that the young woman being courted by two guys-one she has no relationship with other than they are from the same ethnic group, the other guy though not from her ethnic group is one with whom she has a relationship, she grew up with him, he played with her, she's emotionally attached to him, he's taught her lots of things, made available for her good the resources he has, he's taken her out for several trainings and vacations. Meanwhile the other guy who is now just coming is one whom she's heard has craw-craw, is very disorganised, loves being crooked etc. The goodjoe would you have your daughter marry the journey just come guy while the other guy is still courting her?
I repeat, such decisions are not easy.
Hehehehe, this your analogy No be here.

It helped with a clearer view of happenings.

(Photo Confirmation) Nigeria Target In Line
To Make Eagles Home Debut Vs Chelsea

https://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/football_pics/19680Ladapo1.png

Nigeria Football Federation target Freddie
Ladapo is in line to feature for the Eagles
when they tackle champions Chelsea in the
Premier League on Saturday.

The ex-Flying Eagles invitee has been
photographed training with the first team
as Crystal Palace stepped up their
preparations for the match day eight
fixture against the Blues.

Manager Roy Hodgson is being forced to
play Ladapo after first-choice striker
Christian Benteke suffered an injury, and
handed him his competitive debut in the
4-0 loss to Manchester United before the
second international break of the season.

Before Ladapo's appearance at Old
Trafford, the highest division in the
pyramid he has played in was the third-tier
for Oldham Athletic A.F.C and Shrewsbury
Town.

The London-born striker played the last
sixteen minutes against the Red Devils,
and could come up against Super Eagles
star Victor Moses on Saturday.

Crystal Palace have zero points and no
goals after their first seven games of the
new season.

Thanks, this is a great interview.

It gives you the mindset of the average kid born abroad to Nigerian parents. They hear all these terrible stories about Nigeria. I have some cousins here, who have not been to 9ja since they were babies. Their impression of 9ja is mostly negative.

Sometimes, it takes the parent to convince them that it is not that bad. Iwobi is better for that decision, today.

Whilst some parent are actively discouraging their kids (Ojokojo), Iwobi's dad support was crucial.
That's just it. The negative perception affects them, affects their choices, makes it difficult for them to just make straightforward choices which is all that I am saying. Until your cousins come home they'd never know for themselves. To understand this is what some have refused to do. Only to say: Tammy you rejected Nigeria, fvck you!!
And to me that ain't fair.

This is what I said '... you are now talking of someone born in the UK who POSSIBLY has no connection with Nigeria'.

IWOBI: I'D LOVE TO CONVINCE ABRAHAM TO MAKE NIGERIA SWITCH
October 10, 2017 3:26 pm
https://i2.wp.com/www.completesportsnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/IMG_20171008_6984-1.jpg
By Johnny Edward:
Arsenal forward Alex Iwobi is ready to convince Swansea City striker Tammy Abraham to pledge his allegiance to Nigeria, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.

Abraham has been courted by the Nigerian Football Federation to make a switch to the Super Eagles but the 19-year-old still representing England at the U-21 level is yet agree to the switch, even publicly rebutting his parent’s country of birth’s advances.

Iwobi who also made an international switch from England in 2015 admitted in an interview with Completesportsnigeria.com that he understands the difficulty Abraham may face in making a decision.

“Obviously it’s going to be difficult when you’re playing in your comfort zone, representing England,” Iwobi told Completesportsnigeria.com.

“Some of these players have been raised up in England and they play for England. So that’s all they know.

“If I get through to him I could talk to him but at the end of the day it’s not my decision; it’s for him to decide.

“However for me switching, and Ola Aina as well it’s been great. Nigerians are very welcoming and you will enjoy your time. Personally I’d advice Abraham and others to switch because they will enjoy their time playing for Nigeria.”

Iwobi came off the substitutes bench to score Nigeria’s only goal against Zambia on Saturday to secure a berth in next year’s FIFA World Cup in Russia.
