Though given his fame and family background and the corrupt Nigerian government, he is likely to go scotfree.

A judge would want to know y Davido and his friends encouraged him to drink so many shots of dry gin and whisky.

That is, in a Civil Law suit.
However, the autopsy results moves this case into the criminal justice system.
Tagbo was reportedly suffocated.

Bros, I would like to explain some things to you about murder cases. Please read along.

1. A lady is pregnant and tells her friend about it. The said friend "suggests" that she aborts it.

2. The lady goes to someone else; probably the boyfriend and tells the individual she wants to abort a pregnancy and the person gives her money for it.

3. The lady goes to a Doctor who conducts the abortion.

4. The lady dies after saying all that happened.
And an autopsy report indicates she died from reasons relating to an abortion that was not properly done.

Under the Nigerian constitution; the Doctor is guilty of murder, the person who gave her money for the abortion knowing that she wanted to abort the baby and the friend that "suggested" the abortion are both guilty of conspiracy.

If you dont believe, ask a lawyer or police officer. That is why you should always pray never to be caught in the middle of a case.

Applying that to this scenario, Davido and co actively encouraged an individual to drink an unreasonable amount of alcohol. Then the person dies. If the autopsy report had indicated that the cause of death was directly related to the alcohol intake, all those that encouraged the guy to take that alcohol whether it was a bet it not are in deep poo.

But luckily for Davido, the said autopsy report indicates that the guy died from reasons unrelating to the alcohol.

So that autopsy report is actually good news for Davido. And he does not need to prove his innocence on Instagram; he should go to the police with the truth. If they believe him, his name would be cleared. And with the way the Police have handled this so far, I don't think anyone can cry "witch-hunt"

*sigh* having an abortion is a criminal offense. drinking alcohol (however irresponsibly) is not.

Anyone who has watched the Last Don or Godfather movie will understand what has happened here, Davido has been legally absolved but its obvious he knew about the death of his friend, how would your team escort someone to the hospital without your knowledge?

They must have asked to distance himself from relevant evidence that can attach him to this crime.

Of everything the legal team talked about, nothing was mentioned about the disappearance the guy who brought tagbo to the hospital.

And the Police is not accusing anyone of anything yet. They only want to know how a guy who was drinking some hours ago suddenly ended up in a hospital DOA (Dead On Arrival). But you entirely missed the point I was trying to make in my post.

I should have said complicity, not conspiracy (my bad) and complicity is a very strange dice in law and people get convicted for it on the most ridiculous and flimsy excuses you can ever hear. And one of those reasons can be encouraging someone to take an unreasonable amount of alcohol (reason number 1) and an autopsy report which indicates that the person died as a consequence of that alcohol intake (reason number 2). The key word here is unreasonable. If it was one shot or two, no one would be making noise. But 30 (or 40 as some people claim)? Damn; that's high. And please note those two conditions.

Complicity is the participation in a completed criminal act of an accomplice, a partner in the crime who aids or encourages (abets) other perpetrators of that crime, and who shared with them an intent to act to complete the crime. A person is an accomplice of another person in the commission of a crime if they purpose the completion of a crime, and toward that end, if that person solicits or [b]encourages the other person, or aids or attempts to aid in planning or committing the crime, or has legal duty to prevent that crime but fails to properly make an effort to prevent it..

Is drinking a crime? No.
Did someone end up dead? Yes.
Was the death from natural causes? No.
Was a crime committed? Maybe.
If reason number 2 that I mentioned above was fulfilled, then the Police would ask if they encouraged him when he was taking that alcohol.
Did they? Yes.
Do you now get my point?
In the end, that autopsy report saved them from a lot of Police wahala. Can we both agree on that?

Some weeks ago a girl died in a basement freezer in a hotel in the US and the cctv footage shows her obviously staggering to the basement after been stoned peole think she might have been saved if her friends had tried to look out for her a bit more,as u have seen on the footage davido was obviously trying to help out and would rather say big ups to him.However nobody in the world knows when he is gonna die even you so it was just some innocent clubbing,getting high and all

However he can always be invited for questioning by the police anytime they deem fit to help investigations since they were together on the day of the incident doesnt make him complicit in any way.

You captured my exact thoughts there.

1. Why were the police details not with Davido at DNA? It means they still had his permission to be at the Shisha Room
2. When the police details escorted the guy's car to the Hospital, did they make any attempt to contact the hospital or did they make a formal report to the police station closest to them?
3. At what time was Davido informed of the guy's death and where were his police details at that point in time?
4. Who informed Davido about the death obviously could answer in the positive or negative about Davido's involvement
5. Were the late DJ Olu and Chime present at the Shisha Room? There might be a connection to their own death too.

Very possible Targbo died choking on his vomit or siting down with his head in an awkward manner after getting drunk undecided

Parents should allow their grown ass children answer for their deeds. Soon we will be seeing SANs defending Davido and oppressing the deceased family.

NOTE: I'm not condemning Davido or judging him for these deaths but he need to fully absolve himself of all these.
