Buhari is lazy, gullible, clueless, confused and not worthy to be a councillor in a developed and wise nation. Just imagine what a president is saying. What are these Northerners afraid of, losing their birthright as the first son

atiku said it. those that reject calls for restructuring are lazy . the best thing to happen is for states to control thier economies individually. that's the only way forward .

You people should try and understand what the presidency is hinting at.

Put PDP back in government and the call for restructuring will end. Vote Atiku into power and he would pretend as if he has never heard about the word before. You all behave as if you don't understand that politics is just a game of interest. That is why they continue to scam you.

Just watch out how many 2019 presidential candidates would use restructuring to try and deceive many people.

The call for restructuring was not suspicious when APC was making campaign promises undecided

the current State of the Nigerian system cannot support for the development of states. APC should do the right thing and not saying that PDP failed to do it. afterall most of them used to be PDP . so no difference.

Is this how we will be looking? Is this how we will be looking? When our future is getting exchanged for a tin of milk and one mudu of garri? When women old enough to be grandmothers, who should be sitting at home with their grand babies, dress up in faded mismatched Ankara outfit and sing in the sun for a man young enough to be their son in exchange for 200 naira?
Is this how we will be looking? When corruption has become corrupted that it is the corrupt that wants to fight corruption? When justice gets stifled and suffocated with the smell of naira notes or dollars as the ‘giver’ wishes? Where the National cake is shared and the crumbs is left for us to share? When the poor man who stole bread and a small bag of semo is burnt to death and the hungry boy who stole chicken is handed a death sentence?
Is this how we will be looking? When old cargoes are still on the queue to rule the country before they take their last breath? Suffocating the young, honest ones who have the interest of the people at heart? Buying people’s conscience and sense of reasoning with contracts and ministerial appointments?

Indeed the best days of Nigeria are in the past. I just appreciate the way Yinka Odumakin puts his case forward. Very consistent and objective.

To the government and its spokesman we can equally say that your doubts and opposition to restructuring are equally suspicious. Could it be that because you are in power you find the inordinate benefits and trappings too enticing to want to let go or as most of us suspect... you don't want to go down in history as the one who gave up Nigeria to Nigerians instead of keeping her at the pleasure of a particular section of the country.... so that your legacy will not be trampled upon when you eventually return home....

But Nigeria is changing. The sufferings are beginning to unify her peoples despite your efforts at dividing her and you will be surprised at the end of it all when you will be asked at home why you didn't pull the plug much earlier....

Nigeria has indeed changed most certainly... most radically.

The call is suspicious is what the presidency said. It never said it was opposed to restructuring governance. There is a committee already in place with regard to the matter.

Brilliant, the truth to be told, PDP, Ohaneze, Afenefere were enjoying loots for the past 16 years they never shouted restructuring. They were booted out, now became agents of restructuring.
Does restructuring stop corruption, embezzlement and stealing from these leaders? No. If we are restructured imagine south south leaders with Edwin Clark Diezani, Patience and the fat noise maker who don't care about the people, the region will be worst of

Don't be a loooonatic!

Yorubas via Afenifere have always called for restructuring since 1999.

There has never been a time in recent dispensations when our system supported development of states. It is indeed very suspicious when even people who had the opportunities to restructure didn't do it but are now being champions of the cause.

Because you are brainless, you see anything good in the old eastern region, only the God given resource are good and be taken by force. all the northern men and women who handled one thing or the other in goverance had stolen the trillion of dollars. list them, babangida, abacha, umaru dikko, buhari, Lukman rilwan, all Emirs and even in the present government there many so called saints looting the resources of the zoogeria

Yes it is suspicious, we want to use the process to stop the Hausa Fulani from parasiting on the rest of the country and as well stop Mr Buhari from stealing Niger Delta oil money via the NNPC

The presidency, buhari n the sycophantic femi should ashamed of themselves, even right there at the venue they were instantly taken to the cleaners by all the speakers, this clearly demonstrates the kind of hypocritical government we have today,a government fooling themselves that they are more knowledgeable n righteous than the whole country. The north said it's not against restructuring, the south has always been pro restructuring but only the presidency feels restructuring is strictly a PDP affair!, this buhari government is now so confused that it's becoming even scared of her shadow.

If I recall correctly the 2014 National Conference was about restructuring the country. So it is false to say the former party in power did nothing to restructure Nigeria.

Modified
If anything, elements of the current party in power even rejected the moves by the PDP to restructure using the confab report.
