I resumed in a secondary school in Lagos about a month ago (this term). Little did I know that a student I don't even teach though am her class teacher had fallen in love with me. I teach Art and Commercial students, she's in science class S.S 3. The funny thing is, it is forbidden for a male teacher to be close to a female student. This young student is 16 years old! She came to the staff room to ask for my full name, I gave her since am her class teacher, later that day, she asked if that's my Facebook name, I said, yea. The following day, I saw her request, I accepted. That was how we started chatting. All of a sudden, she'll flash or send SMS that Master, am Online or please come online now. I just knew sth was wrong, I asked her which she first denied but later admitted she was in love with me. I told it can't work. According to her, it's not the first time she's falling in love. She asked me to give her time to get over it.
Please, don't castigate; it can happen to anybody. Just give your profound advice.
I said something to myself at resumption to the school that any teacher who falls in love with his female student has a challenge, I still stand on my word. I just need to advice her now.

I even thought maybe the girl was stalking him or something. This is very shameful for a guy, a teacher to an SS 3 student.
