Ogun state disappointed me, I was expecting it to be among top 10 considering its closeness with Lagos. It has a lot of benefits to be tap from Lagos but see how down below the state is sitting. if state like Kebbi , Kogi, Taraba, Gombe could rank higher than Ogun state I give up on the governor. well am not to surprised sha if you can be putting on that kind of High cap as if you are going to party to office everyday how will you be able to perform well.

Considering doing a roof parapet?
check out price comparison between a concrete cast in suite against polystyrene parapet.
Polystyrene parapet is light weight and doesn't have much impact on the land.
excellent usage on swampy environment.

Fiscal sustainability, or public finance sustainability, is the ability of a government to sustain its current spending, tax and other policies in the long run without threatening government solvency or defaulting on some of its liabilities or promised expenditures.
To me, the southeast is not doing well is because they have failed to appropriately implement one aspect of taxation that generate the most money when taxes are the concern, which is the property tax. There are millions of houses in the villages in Southeast that are just there.

See mumu IPod all over does fiscal sustainability mean richest states, una no see where Akwa-ibom dey the highest oil allocated state.

The topic simply means the money you have in your reserve how long it can carry you after spending. Some states don't even embark on much projects so they will definitely have more money and little population to cater for.

Illiteracy thing..Lagos is the 5th economy in Africa,Ogun state is the most industrialised state in Nigeria followed by Lagos, then Oyo state.SW is the 4th economy in Africa and the most industrialized in Nigeria and Yorubas control the economy with their massive indigenous internationally linked industries. If it were not for the wickedness of the government of Nigeria and the jealousy politics being played, the SW would have been like America or close to that.May God forgive us all for the chest beating.

Olodo!

This study is about states that keep their money in the banks instead of spending them on the people.

Southwestern states don't keep much money in savings because they are spending them on education and infrastructural developments.
You spend them on education yet you have the poorest results in waec n utme since the year 2000 till date .

Uglyojuku:
It does not mean that you are progressing more than the Sw but your inefficiency to use your brain for the growth of your economy but prefer to keep the money for future thievery. The SW had always led in growth even without oil and still leading and the Igbos/SE are the poorest in the South..doing rituals, baby factories and mass white powder peddling are delusional path to wealth.SW had always control the economy of Nigeria with their massive industries because they are astute nation builders and deep thinkers.

How come Kogi state that can’t even get anything done is ranking so high above states like Kaduna and Ogun?

Abeg forget this list! lol I don’t even understand it- and I doubt most people here understand what the list is saying.
Meaning there are no projects embarked on in Kogi state!

As for Osun, that govt needs to cut down his too many projects yet he will be the first to cry out states' over dependency on oil when the actualisation of his many projects depend on oil revenues. Abegi.

SW is not economically viable,if not Lagos that was developed by Nigeria the way Abuja is been developed now from ND oil money the SW will be worst off.
Who told you? Didn't you read the post?

The topic was on state's sustainability in relative to their spending, project etc.

This probably shows those states at the top list had little projects embarked on, apart from those with huge revenues though.

apart from Lagos, no viable state in southwest. no wonder they are fighting with their last blood against restructuring.
HopeAtHand:
Rivers needs someone alot better in 2019. Ordinarily we ought to give Lagos state something to think about, but here we are stuck in 1999 mentality with Wike. Ordinary Akwa Ibom and Ogun states are bragging of how they will top Rivers state in foreseeable future.
uglyafonja:
Afonja states with their fake IGR......
No wonder they are still hungry and nearly collapse during the recession period
You've just showed how dumb you are. Go back to the topic once again but engage your brain this time around if you've got one.
