I also read on page 1of this thread on comparison between Aussie PR migration and Canada. It was stated that Australian application cost thrice as much compared to Canada but POF is not required.. Is this true?.

While that is a cool suggestion, he will need documents to back that up with DIBP.

While this thread is for everybody, people would only respond to queries if they have correct info in order not to mislead.

What skill do you want to assess with AIMS?
What's your qualification and experience? Maybe another body that people are familiar with can also assess you.

You have actually not provided any information for anyone to give you good suggestion.

What is your occupation and qualification? Also your wife?

My wife is a teacher and I'm a builder by profession. We have already applied for the school and she had been given provisional offer but waiting for IETLS alone.

What is the HND in?

You both are qualified to run the PR process, I believe it will be faster for you than her. How many years of experience do you have?

How much is the school fees?

I reckon it will be faster for you than your wife. This is my opinion and it is up to you to take it or leave it. If you are not very desperate and in urgent to leave Nigeria, suspend the student application process and start your PR.

Nominate bricklayer as your occupation. Check anzsco description for bricklayer or any other related occupation to building. Building technician is not on the list, bricklayer comes very close..

Age- ?
Qualification. 10
Experience. 15
English?

Fill the two blank, bricklayer is not competitive, you can get invitation fast provided you can get 60-65points.

The decision is up to you but if I were in your situation, I wouldn't spend such money on student visa when I can get a PR and still get to do masters for free.

How many years of HR manager experience do you have? For AIMS, you must have at least 5 years experience as a manager and have departments reporting to you.

For claiming partner's point, it must be an occupation that is on the same skilled occupations list as your nominated occupation. While Auditor/Accountant is on the MLTSSL, Residential Care Officer and Health Promotion Officer are on STSOL. I don't think you can claim partner's point. Let others put mouth.
Zany, you're on point.

Hi all, am new on this thread. I have a really urgent question. I have an Australian student (based on scholarship) visa but am working on the PR pathway.
Please
Could you kindly tell me if you had a stop over in Malaysia,? I booked a turkish airline flight to Australia, and the flight is passing through Malaysia, then turkish airline is using Malindo airline as the connection flight to Perth. Please I want to know if we will be needing a Malaysia visa during the 1 hour 50 minutes transit time? Did you get a Malaysia visa? Or was it required from you ?
Please quickly come. To a sister aid I'd you've used turkish airline recently.

Thanks

Can he prove the experience?

Well, take it as option B, get the outcome of your wife's IELTS first and dilute the decision.

If IS no go, WAS will go.

As a student that needs to show a proof of about hanging 9 -10 million in bank account, he definitely may have the money to chase the 2.

I have been seriously thinking about this option too, although I feel my resume and episodes don't match the occupations tasks at all.

Zany thanks a lot for your concern, I'm thinking it will even have to be to EA because my CDR don't match draftperson at all. Now coming around to change everything, won't it amount to some sort of falsification?

As for DIBP I'm not claiming work experience, so I believe they can hold their peace.
