I have this on my phone before, tried it countless times, didn't work... I chose font and it says completed. I should change font, when I try using the app it takes me to the phone inbuilt font changer, I try to apply it, dosent work... I don tire sef... Ontop changing font

That is what I did... When I 'set' it from ifont it says font pack produces successfully...

From here use the miui theme editor,click browse, go to the ifont folder and select the mtz file. Then click on start, next, finish.

Depending on your rom, the new theme should appear automatically. Otherwise import it from storage *miui *theme folder.

This issue is quite popular with some generic MTN numbers, i.e if you used an MTN number for registration and application. Some numbers can't receive verification codes from Xiaomi.
2 things you can do:

a. Try reapplying for unlocking BL with a different line, say with Glo or 9mobile or Airtel.

b. Just to clear all doubts, try using the MiFlash UnlockTool on your device and see if it can unlock it. You might get lucky.

Their 3G network is location dependent. Porting to a 4G sim wouldn't solve it either if you don't have a compatible device

Not that,but glo's band 28 for 4G lte as i hrd as deeper penetration,na wetin dey give dem edge be dat,am sure if it wia to be on oda bands,it wud be crappy as dia 3G service.
