whether we are soldiers or bloody civilians, one day we will die and all the powers we are so drunken off,

The burial arrangements of former Chief of Army Staff, Late Lt. Gen. SVL Malu Rtd who died on the 9th of October has been announced by the Nigerian Army.

According to Brig Gen Sani Usman, the Director Army Public Relations, the burial arrangements is as follows;

Friday 27th October 2017: Wkake Keep at Tse Adoor Compound, Tongov, Mbajima, Katsina-Ala LGA, Benue State.

Time: 5:00pm

Saturday 28th October 2017: Funeral Service and Interment at Tse Adoor Compound, Tongov, Mbajima, Katsina-Ala LGA, Benue State.

Time: 10:00am

Late Lt. Gen. SVL Malu Rtd was born on the 15th of January 1947, he served as the Chief of Army Staff between 1999-2001.

Okay, for starters, as Chief of Army Staff (CoAS), he ordered the levelling of Odi, Bayelsa State, burning houses and killing the innocent. The scars remain till today.

He also headed the military tribunal that jailed former Nigeria's number two man, Gen. Oladipo Diya and several others. Many believed the so-called coup was a set-up.

As ecomog commander in Liberia, his men were accused of several crimes, including rape of innocent women.

In an interview he granted after he was fired as CoAS under Obj, he told the public that he regretted not overthrowing obj as civilian presido.

On the positive side, those close to him said the tough-talking General was a strict disciplinarian who didn't tolerate nonsense.
