No sir, those phones actually "Don't have a dedicated earpiece" but it has an earpiece.

The one speaker in that phone serves as. The Earpiece, The Speaker and the Vibrator.

When the phone rings, there's a component that tells the speaker to "ring aloud" using the speaker function. When the call is taken, the component switches the speaker to work as a "earpiece"
and sound goes through a space to be hear on the front side (earpiece side)

You see people use the back of their phones because that component has broken/stopped! the fact is 7 of 10 people who would buy that phone would suffer the issue cause it is known with those phones.

Those phones are Nokia 105, 100 etc.

She will be calling me but each time I pick the call she won't talk audibly, I hate it when you wisper on phone as if you wan reveal a secret, I had to accuse poor airtel of bad network just to end the call and get a relief.

I have a friend whom I can't pick his call in a noisy place because he is always whispering even in an emergency situation. Too bad, I simply ignore is calls while I'm on motion (in a bus)

For your point on putting back of the phone in the ear, I'd say Nokia Torch phones (Nokia 107 at least) sound louder and better like that.

Most Nigerians can't talk quietly on phone. They will make sure someone about 3 miles gon hear them. Fvcking noisemakers!!

Lol - We're Nigerians, we do our own way. Some won't even try out this Wireless charging technique rampaging the whole tech market nowadays.

most of this actions would pass as reflexes and what does it have to do with being local ,local or no local does it put food on your table misplaced priorities aunty learn to mind your business everybody with his own i would like to see how you would react when your you receive a debit alert on your phone for a transaction you did not authorize (probably all your savings) you will do more than all this when you are on the phone with your bank contact centre most of this actions are involuntary you can never tell what the person has been going through all day so meeting him at some point in the day for less than 10 mins and his phone etiquette at that particular time does not make him or local all you stated above all active phone users are guilty of these things as far as i am concern i think it is who and the message you are getting from the other end that will determine your actions

Never done such, because i hate it myself.

Those Nokia torch phones have no earpiece in the front like is obtainable in other phones..

It has just one speaker behind it and that speaker can't be heard from the front except you put it in loudspeaker.. So if you don't want to put the call on loudspeaker, just flip the phone to the other side and make your call!!


I used to judge the nokia torch users too from a distance until I had to use a friend's own, I then understood their plight..

If you open that phone, you'd see it doesn't have a earpiece..!



and I'm damn sure the infinix phones you're referring to all have earpieces at the top of their phones separate from the speakers at the back..

Currently using one of such phones.

There's 100,000 cases of hearing loss per year in Nigeria. Most people are overly loud on the phone because they don't hear properly
