Kogi state is a very useless hopeless state. While travelling to the east last April with my car, some touts blocked road just before a town called ejule. And asked my driver for car radio tax receipt. Like joke, he went and brought one sample, one kogi state govt tax receipt. And my driver started starmeering. I came down and took over. Told the guy I was driving from Abuja to the east, just passing through kogi, so wount pay. I asked him to stop at least 3 cars with Abuja plate number like me, let them show me the receipt. When it got hard for them they asked me to go but I should find them something to drink water. I dropped them 200 naira.
And then they told me that after the ejule town there's another set there. We say no problem.
Since we were prepared, once we sighted them we started shouting and abusing them, they quickly removed the road and we passed.

Muslim man killed Muslim driver the story will die off quickly.... Imagine it was the other way round....their brothers would have started trouble in Kaduna and kano

"Well done to the truck drivers" . But has justice been done? The killer is known , he is a tax collector. Will he be tried in court for the crime? This is the real issue not the compensation. And who is entitled to the compensation and who determines how much it should be?

We share the same pain here. Imagine the truck drivers didn't block the roads to draw the attention of the government, this case would have been over. You and I can know what will happen if they leave the crime scene and go and report at the police station. My sincere prayer is that non of us should ever die a preventable death in the hands of this animals, if not a dog would be more honourable in death that such a person. God help us
