Information reaching us, has it that the Honorable Lawmaker representing Ahoada West constituency, Hon. Okpokiri Nwanaka Okpokiri JP, decided to deliver dividends of democracy by buying and Gifting 85 pieces of Gionee 5 Phones to the people he represents in the Rivers State House of Assembly.

Majeblinks a Facebook user,  posted on his page  and he wrote....

In furtherance to deliver Dividends of democracy to his people Hon. Okpokiri Nwanaka Okpokiri JP, member representing the good people of Ahoada west constituency in the Rivers state house of Assembly has released 85 Gionee 5 phones to his constituents for easy communication.

This is what happens when the legislative want to be the executive by force.

Constituency projects are a waste of time.

The earlier we realize this the better.

People should stop making the legislative a big deal. There are even states in the US where legislators are not paid and legislating is a part time job.

Just imagine the collosal waste.... Each one costs more than 100k.

This could build one block of 10 classrooms that will provide education for at least 400 secondary school kids for the next 30 years.
