I have no idea.....but I believe it should be decent..... But one should not be making employment decisions based purely on pay.

As Nchabuomo as said, people need to exercise lots of patience at this stage especially those who have had documentation and medicals but no training school invite yet.How long you have to wait isn't up to how long you've waited.I believe those who've had documentation will eventually get training school invite probably the next batch. My fear is mainly for those who've had assessment but no further correspondence and seeing their colleagues who got training school invites without doing documentation or medical,it's 'killing'.In my own opinion, I think it would be better if Firstbank were to send regret mails. From experience having received regret mails from two banks in the past,I prefer this to uncertainties as it allowed me to 'grieve' and move on quickly and not tie myself down waiting hopelessly. Make nobody misquote me o,na my thoughts o.The wait is killing me too.

It's purely based on your prerogative. I also got through Access bank recruitment but declined when they gave the 2million target. If you're comfortable with Access bank's terms and the very high targets during the full employment offer, then stick with it.
For First bank as I've learnt...expect the unexpected, the system is quite hard to decipher .

Not if you already have a job and the admission to TS email sent has a disclaimer stating you might not be accepted if there are no more spaces and other lame excuses. Will be cutting off almost 100k from my current salary for 3months without knowing what the offer is! Recruitment process that is taking almost 2 years! Sigh. Abeg money too is important.

@machete I don't understand what you mean by this disclaimer... Was this an added clause in the mail you received from FBN?

I'm quite surprised you're asking this having come this far. This is a graduate trainee position you're vying for and consequent to your successful completion of the training you'll become a core staff of the bank.
I believe you already had your AC, have you previously been called for medicals and documentation?

Lol OK oh cos it seems they are also running a parallel recruitment procedure for the outsourced staff...Anyway am thru with Medicals...expecting my TS mail

Here is my prayer and heart desire for everyone on this thread. It will surely end in praise.

Happy Sunday, folks.

well , they pay more , they are more upbeat U get car loan. And they are both banks. Their conditions are tough though, gats bring someone to deposit 2million or so. But yeah, if u get it ... you are made. And where ever you are , good, u can always get a better offer. (Money is important in Nigeria. #fact)

you think money is more important than Peace of Mind? Access is unduly aggressive in an effort to win customers over their side.

depends on which department you are bro. All banks are aggressive in marketing. Maybe some are more, but I don't think this chap is looking for marketing job. It's still up to him.

Mr Saverin, you can only hope for the best bro. With the way things have turned out over the last week, don't be shocked if you receive a mail for documentation and medicals and make it into the next batch or other batches for training school, keep on hoping and process other opportunities.
