Hello pals,

This has kept me wondering if going to church every sundays is mandatory or not.

Although serving God is a thing of the heart. If one decides to do his own service at home, is there any consequences?

Some of my friends hardly attend church but prefer doing their service in orphanage home where they use their tight and offerings to help the children.

What is your take on this?


For me that have a wife and two kids...worship can take place in my home.

I want to thank God for my two adorable children.....Precious and Princewill Alfred...love you guys so much......pls you kids should take it easy in scattering and breaking things in the house.......

2. worshipping at home tends to save money than going to church to add to the pastor's earnings
3. At home, you dont see fresh tempting laps like you will when you go to church
4. At home, you dont get seduced by big asses during praise..buh in the church, when its time to dance, you might get raped mentally by those asses

But sha o, there is actually smtn about going to church that u might not experiece at home. For me its praise and worship (which is the only things i always look forward to when i go to church).

I don't really get what Worship is all about in Christianity, could you tell me what worship is according to Jesus.

There will be distractions at home. Do not forsake the gathering of d brethren. But I am a home worshiper.

There is really no difference, but you might get lazy at home...if you were in a church with so many other people with high spirits, you will be nore gingered with your praise and prayers.

A Christian's battles cannot be fought in isolation, you need other Christians of varying maturity for support in your journey in Christ. This world is a wicked place. How many gifts of the Holy Spirit do your children have and how do they put these gifts to use in helping your family grow to Christian maturity? You need to fellowship with people who God can use to grow and maintain your Christian fellowship, if not, the storm will definitely come and you wouldn't be able to withstand it.

But the Bible say Christians should come together to worship him.....
How many Christians do we have today?.
For instance in DEEPER LIFE bible church out of a congregation of 100 about 20 of them are genuine Christians and will make heaven, the remaining 80 are bench warmers

What about CHRIST EMBASSY?. In a congregation of 100, none will go to heaven because of WORLDLINESS and erroneous teaching which has consumed members of CHRIST EMBASSY...

Going to church is good, but being a good Christ and His disciples is the ultimate.

That is how NOUN graduates will come and start saying there is no difference between them and UNIBEN, UNILAG, UI etc graduates.

Even the bible says and quote that we shouldn't forsake our own gathering

yes, worshiping at home means stupid Christians will not pay money for pastors private jets. Pastor will also not get the chance to see free women he wants to Bleep.
