Abeg me i don't know why I'm fearing but I am...I wrote IGCSE not WAEC, and I don't know the points for the grades...so based on my prediction my merit is between 75 - 76...and I want to study mechanical engineering which is 74 (since I'm from PH)...abeg can someone give me clarification, I'm actually genuinely scared cus I don't know whether my prediction is correct...and the margin for error is very small �

Darn it...I was born in Lagos, grew up in Lagos, schooled in Lagos, was taught the same way every other Westerner was taught...now I didn't get up to merit but scored higher than the catchment and I am being told there is a slim chance of me getting admitted. All these segregation is our disease... religion... education... employment... Justice. Country is so f**ked up.

That's why UI is preferable(no catchment) but it's the lagos craze. Same situation here. Lived here all my life and schooled here even half lagosian but our system decides.

Being lagosian and scoring above Lagos' cutoff is a boost na. You don't exactly need to hit merit like those who aren't from catchment area. Or am I missing something?
