''Ehen...we're here, why were you in such a hurry to leave your
parents house?'' Vicky asked immediately they unlocked the door and
got into their house.

''With this kind of dress you're wearing, what else do you expect from
me?'' he asked slipping his around her waist after placing the
sleeping baby in his bed.

Vicky laughed, ''So, I can't dress up anymore?''

''I didn't say so, but when you wear one like this; as hot as this, I
forget what it means to think properly.''

She laughed and faced him, being few inches less in height compared to
him, she lifted her eyes to met his. ''I'm dressing this good for my
husband.''

He threw her a careless wink, ''And your husband appreciates.''

He cupped her face with his hands and brought down his lips to hers.
With a moan, she returned the hungry kiss.
His hand found the zip of her blouse and he began unzipping it, a loud
cry from the baby's bed stopped him half-way.

Vicky pulled away and cast him a look that clearly spells apology
before going over to carry the baby whose eyes were now wide open like
he hasn't slept at all.

Ken groaned in frustration ''I think I will need to shower.''

''Shower?'' she asked.

''Yeah.'' he nodded, ''shower, to cool the hotness in my body.''
He walked over to where the child laid in Vicky's arms and pulled his
leg. ''Little man, learn to mind your business, it's important in
life.''

Vicky gently pushed his shoulder, ''leave my child.'' she said, ''I'm
sure if Nate hears about this he will reduce the number of kids he
wants to zero.''
'You're talking as if you don't know Nate,'' her husband replied.
''does he look like someone that is interested in having kids? I won't
be surprised if we later find out that he has done vasectomy.''

''He won't dare it,'' she answered.''Jane looks like someone that is
interested in having kids and I'm sure he wouldn't want to break her
heart.''

''I still need that shower.'' he muttered and left for the bathroom.

Vicky let out a loud breath, now that their marriage is slowly
returning back to normal, she prayed inwardly for another Katherine
not to come into the picture and take her husband away from her, the
only man that she has loved and will always love.

The baby started struggling to be free from her grip and she let him
and dropped him on the floor, he stood up with the help of the bed
edges.

''Daddy will beat you.'' Vicky said and collected Ken's phone from him.

He frowned and started to cry.

''What does he want now?'' Ken asked as soon as he got out of the bathroom.

''Your phone,'' Vicky replied.

''Please check the internet,'' he said to Vicky. ''Is there any
boarding school that accepts 7 months old, I think it's high time this
kid left for school.''

''You're not serious.'' she replied. ''My school won't go to a
boarding school.''

She went to the kid and picked him up. ''Come let's go and watch
spongebob squarepants, daddy doesn't want you around.'' she joked with
the baby and began tickling him.

They left and Ken walked to his closet and took a casual wear from it
and started to pull it on.
If I had known that kids disturb this much, maybe I would have
re-considered having kids at all.'' he thought and then brushed the
thought aside. His son, ever since he was born, has become another
source of joy to him. It feels good having kids although sometimes the
burden of taking care of them could be overwhelming especially when
they're learning to walk.

He dressed up and grabbed his phone from the bed, where Vicky had
dropped it. Taking a closer look at it, he said. ''What does he even
know about phones that is making him cry over one?''

Having no answer to that question, he left for the sitting room to
join his wife and sodn.
