Superstition and Ignorance is a dangerous combo
as it makes the victim susceptible to every ridiculous
beliefs and conmen antics.

What is even more disturbing is that the purveyors of this nonsensical
beliefs seem to think their opinion is superior to all others because
they "experienced it" when it is nothing but an extension of their
confirmation bias rooted in lazy thinking.

An innocent bird which missed its way was killed to assuage the anger
of a man who refuses to take responsibility for his own life.

The circumstances you are/were a victim of made you superstitious because you are a lazy thinker. You people should stop making these conmen rich.

That guy is not smart. He has been suffering for years and today manner from heaven fell in form of free meat that should have been used for a nice egusi soup, fetch yam from his backyard farm and pound. Instead he decided to burn it off. Why do people waste opportunity like this.
Is that the kind of meat you eat in your house? Better use your brain as regularly as you use nairaland app!!!

So because you had some setbacks in life, evil forces are responsible? Why can't you accept responsibility for ur shortcomings and stop looking for where to shift blame? Loser.

There is nothing like dark witchcraft, just a bunch of magicians
whose primary means of livelihood is deception.
Secrecy and ignorane is the refuge of such trade because no one will be foolish
enough to believe such lies should the process be public.

Reminds me of a man who collected "jazz" from a witchdoctor to poison his brother,
the dummy still think it is black power when he could achieve
the same thing with sniper or get a prescriptive drug from a pharmacist.
But with all the dramatic displays of the witchdoctor, he was fooled into thinking
spirits, when all he got was poison.

Religion is the opium of the stupid.

Nigerians are using God the same way they use their juju men, as a means to attack and destroy their perceived enemies. They refuse to take responsibility for anything. Can't get a job? It is an evil spirit. You turn to a life of crime? Oh, my step mother cursed me and since then I cannot do anything good.

The worst part is that pastors now have powers that none of the prophets in the bible ever had. They can see the future and heal the sick and blind. Yet none of them has ever tried to heal Cobhams or go to visit hospitals to see all the sick people there in need of healing.

e tire me seriously..i tried to even analyse the evil bird' but it made no sense..are we saying the bird was sent to watch this man?how does it transmit its live feed to its handler...
and in this time and age why not simply install a hidden camera u can access wirelessly to monitor this person...instead of using a bird..na wa o

Now, the question is, did his life become better after he killed this innocent bird, identified as a common bulbul?
