I am not sure because to me he should be playing atm. Even their fan base has been clamoring for him so I can't put my fingers on the reason he is not playing
Not even sure which is better;benchwarming or playtime with fans booing him as cause of current predicament. Rather Koeman takes the blame and he shifts it to 'not being able to get Giroud'. Funny!

Ilori VS Iorfa

A good world cup for Jordan Ibe will raise his stock again. He looks a shadow of the player that broke into the limelight at liverpool.

Unlike Iorfa's rejection, Ibe made it clear that he is giving an English call-up priority. That means, we are the fall-back choice. Iorfa was essentially the same but in different language.

National team helps a lot in players career at d club,if he's wise he shld switch his allegiance to d green and wyte syde, after one or two games with d national team, his chances might come sooner dan he expected.
So he should switch and all of a sudden he becomes better than the Olayinkas, the Onyekurus on the sideline right?

Performance wise, what has Lookman done to merit playing a few games for us ahead of Olayinka and Onyekuru?

Look at my post very well,I am not forgiveness grin dt promote players here,I only gave an advice to d youngman(lookman),if he want to resurrect his career at Everton,DAT d fastest way to do dt, is by joining d super eagles and hope an invitation would b extended to him,by so doing,he mite revive his club career

Having said dat, all d suggested players like lookman, olayinka, aiyenugba, ajagun, onomah, and co,I don't fancy any of dem,cos I don't c anything extraordinary dey would add to d team, dt dis present crop of players won't do,

La Liga: Uzoho out of Deportivo clash with Las Palmas

Nigerian teenage goalkeeper Francis Uzoho will not take part in RC Deportivo’s Monday night clash with Las Palmas in the Spanish Primera Division, reports www.aclsports.com.

Uzoho had kept goal in Deportivo’s last two league games, a draw at Eibar followed by a loss to Girona last Monday – a result which culminated in the sack of manager Pepe Mel.

On the appointment of former Deportivo’s youth team coach Cristobal Parralo till the end of the season, the former Aspire Academy goalkeeper was dropped for the experienced Przemyslaw Tyton and Costel Pantilimon for their Copa Del Rey clash with UD Las Palmas last Thursday.

Both teams will go toe-to-toe once again on Monday night at Las Palmas’ Estadio de Gran Canaria in a league game and Uzoho has not been called up by Parralo for the game.

Eighteen players were called up by the manager on Sunday afternoon including the aforementioned goalkeeping duo, Tyton and Pantilimon as well as former Arsenal striker Lucas Perez.

Deportivo are still without striker Adrian Lopez who had a shoulder complication after the Girona game. The Coruna based side are placed 16th on the La Liga log with eight points, two ahead of Monday’s opponents Las Palmas who are in 18th with six points.

ok I get it but that does not explain Kayode not getting a start after winning a pk and creating an assist in his last match.
Well, that I don't know precisely.

Let me have my say as regards underperforming abroad-grown players.
The key word is underperforming. Calling them up to SE, will be discriminating against the home-grown that are performing.
What we need to do is engage them so they can feel more Nigerian. That's all, until they pick up their game.

Modified.
We should never be in the business of using the SE to raise the value of players, home-grown or not. Find a new club and perform.

If we choose to keep Mikel at the AM position, then the battle for two slots at CM/DM will be between Onazi, Ndidi, J.Obi, and Agu(?)

Deserves to be in the SE fold. Will he grab his chance with both hands?
