17k was not on 5 trips, that's his weekly total so far. That is for Monday and tuesday

The reason for that is very simple.
Less driver to service Uber riders at the moment while on the other hand, more driver to service average rider request on Taxify. Therefore, any driver will always get request on Uber either 30 minutes away or 1 minutes.
But you might not get request quickly on Taxify if your activity % is low.
Always maintain between 98% to 100% activity on Taxify and see the difference in waiting time.
My advice for anyone with less activity score on Taxify is to never stay in a competitive environment. You should rather be more active in less competitive environment until your activity score improve to 98%.

I will do that at the airport I got a request but I couldn't accept it because of the app froze. The taxify app misbehaves anyhow. It's very unpredictable

But it will make things riders change their attitude once they know they can be charged for excess waiting
