My hubby and his siblings have this kinda allergy. He would eat something and big big bumps would appear all over his body then disappear over the next few hours. And so many foods cause it its almost impossible to narrow down whats causing it. Ive noticed that most of his nieces have allergies too, one had this boil issue that sounds so similar to what you are describing, her mum tried everything but people told her she should just wait that the baby would outgrow it, and the baby finally did, at about 3 years old.
Na wa!
But its quite soothing to know they outgrow it. I just can't wait. Its well

Hello every1. Trust we r all good.

Ok,i noticed that my ds(25months)has not been eating well only for me to check his mouth and i saw a whitish spot with a red circle on his lower, inner lip and also running temp. So i started using warm water/salt with cotton wool to clean d place & giving him ibrupofen syrup. But there was no improvement at all bcus he refused eatng nor taking even water!

We took him to the hospoital on sun night cus d temp got so so high that even tepid-sponging did nada! He was given antibiotics, vit c & ibrupofen.

Yesterday,i noticed ders another white patch on his left tip of tongue, omg! I pity d boy o! He cnt evn take water without crying... He really wants to eat but the thot of d pains when food enters his mouth, makes him withdraw!

Just this afternoon,i saw a bigger patch with about 3tiny ones around it on d right edge of his tongue! God,wat is this ooo! He cant even close his mouth! He has lost so much weight from friday evening.

The antibiotics mks him poop alot but i have to continue giving him...

What could have caused the white patches. I learnt its an infection!

Is there anything else i can use to hasten the healing I'm so so so worried for him...

Good evening ma'am. From ur description, it seems those patches are aphthous ulcers. They are nothing serious but are very painful and may be due to an underlying stress factor, infection or nutritional deficiency. U can get topical hydrocortisone for him and apply on d sores to relieve d pain. But dey usually resolve on their own. U can also suggest to ur doctor to carry out malaria test to rule out malaria.

Thank you ma..and thank you too .

So I will be resuming work on Monday. I have sourced for a good day care (based on recommendations) for my baby. I bought some small storage plates to dish her formular in. One plate has enough formulae for each feed. I also bought the Gerber rice mea

We just started creche last week and this is what I do
I have a medium sized flask for his hot water. Then I put a big bottle of Eva water (this is to use to dilute the hot water and it also serves as his drinking water.

I instruct them not to wash any of his utensils but they said they can't give me dirty plates.

So, I calculate his feeds. Since cereal is all my son likes to eat, and I feed him every 3 hours, I calculate from 8 am to 5pm. How many times will he eat and how many scoops per feed.

I have a small flask, I mix his cereal with his milk so all they need to do is fetch the quantity he eats and then mix with water.
I equally put about 4 feeding bottles, 4 bibs and 4 mini handkerchiefs. 4 plates and 4 spoons.

I always feed him before dropping him off

I also put 2 extra body suits, 1 extra pair of trouser (sometimes I put 2) and 1 extra pair of shirt

Reason for the extra clothes is 1. If he gets stained with poop, he can be changed into clean clothes. 2. The creche usually clean him up with wipes, change his clothes and comb his hair before I pick him up. So by the time I get there, he's clean and smelling fresh.

His bag is usually quite heavy but I prefer it that way. Also the creche is very close to my house so I don't have issues with the big bag

Hello great mothers.

My hubby and I are really irritated about our daughter's behaviour. She agrees anyone carry her. Even if visitors are not willing she wil start crying for them to carry her.

She doesn't have class, this one carry me that one carry me, we are irritated. How do we stop her without visitors getting angry over it?

Sunday before the last I took her out on a walk, hey you guys need to see how she was embrassing everyone we walk by, she will run to meet whoever she sees around with all smiles and hands up to be carried.

We wants to start stopping her by all means. But I need advise on how to do this without really making outsiders look stupid.

She's over friendly. To the point she will reject me if she is in their arms. Last week was really a trying time for her/us. She was seriously down and did not sleep for two nights and days. She was on admission and had to plea for them to give her sleeping pill. She got viral infection from 'carry me carry me'.

My hubby even has decided not minding who he goin to offend, that he will simply say leave her, no carry am let her cry.

I will give her your kiss tomorrow morning.

Thanks.

Lol @ she doesn't have class. How old is she? My dd was like this sometime back when she was around 2-3. She runs to meet everyone to carry her & once u don't let her she starts crying seriously,we got so pissed that we started talking to her. When we get home, i'll warn her never to try that again & so many talks until she stopped,I think she'll outgrow it but keep talking to her, that's the stage she is right now
