I got this miui 9 update on my phone this morning, wanted to update it now and can't find it on my phone again, not even bringing it up undecided

Nightly update is pushed to random users. You won't get the update again till it's pushed to the general public

Good morning house I changed my region to India and instantly got an update I think 1.3g, I downloaded it the first time and at the end it wrote couldn't verify update. Still yet I foolishly downloaded a second time cry cry cry cry what could be d reason.. Cause am planning on staying away from. That system updater.

So my update from 8.2.10 to 8.5.8 had issues, and I had to resume it in the download manager.

I tried installing from updater app only only to get an xits not allowed to upgrade to onofficial rom" error.

I wasted a full sub on this idîot just to get to miui 9 o.

My note 4x just landed yesterday, flexing the phone. The phone is just wow. Thanks to protein0 for the swift delivery and friendly gesture. Order from protein0 and go to sleep cos the guy is over trusted.

Seems xiaomi quickly withdraw the update, cos I saw a lot of guys complaining about it in the mi community.

Some said the features are not complete and it drains ba3 too.

Especially those that got the 226 mb update, the real rom is not yet out, even those that got the nightly still complain..

Hopefully, before the end of those week, we will get the real update.

Though xiaomi no try at all, over 3months to test the rom yet dem no fit deliver.

Latest developer rom updated.
Updates looks & feels good, but note that all third party themes installed via miui theme maker apps doesn't work again. Gives error 402.

Check for update to the editor app or delete the themes and start afresh

Make una calm down. The update is not for everybody, that's why it's called nightly.you cannot cancel this type of updates to download later. It's either you do it immediately, or you wait for public release.

After testing for some days, it will then be released to the public or suspended depending on the feedback.

As it is a major os upgrade, it is advisable to factory reset your phone before complaining about any bug.

And if you are on the latest MIUI 8 rom, then your update package to miui 9 will be less in size. Otherwise, na 1.3Gb you go see

Nr b must say u go dey receive updates like other devices, u go get miui 9 soon. If you like update, u fit do am manually, version 8.5.3.0 don dey already.
