osento:Bro i appreciate your comments so far and your opinion but for the sake of beginners reading this, its good to clarify and state that lump sum is not against the rule especially if you cannot help it. All you have to do is provide evidence which i did and the v.o omitted it. Please read my transcript well i stated that after the lump sum in july i paid tuition out of it in august and sponsor also transfered living expenses to close at 7.8mill. its fine to criticize the application because it was not approved which is really what i am looking forward to but when you do it please do it constructively because of other readers. someone i actually said the v.os are not mind reader i should pointed out every suspicious from beginning of the app to end which i see as a fact i hope this answers. |

Lovemeplease:We love you!! ![]() Well, your financial capacity as to sponsoring your wife appears good but to start with, she needs to be admitted in a school first before these considerations are made. Both of you can use google to check out schools in Canada that match her interest preferably a master degree program(if she can get an offer) so that the visa chances can exponentially spring up. It will be on the basis of her admission that you two would know how much funds will be required at least for her tuition as the requirement of a minimum of 10,000CAD is standard. Every other thing in terms of your kids, category of visa as dependents can be framed upon at the later part of the process(visa application) after she has been offered admission as it is also paramount that her purpose of visiting Canada be in reasonable light regarding her present situation, circumstance, interest and overal goals. Most often, these are the key aspects officers look at when the review an application of a primary applicant(In your case, wife) before other considerations are made as both your visit and your kids' would be dependent on her study permit approval and conditions. Begin with securing admission that will project her as genuine in her study intention. Also, spread your search beyond Toronto. Apply to as much schools as possible. Once she is able to get admission else where and hopefully the study visa, she can still study in a school of her choice in Toronto. She will only need to transfer DLI(School).Don't limit it to Toronto alone. Regards. |

My kindy opinion, try paying the full tuition fees, and get your 10,000CAD deposited in your account or Dom account, avoid lump sum (just avoid it,instead of trying to make VO understand the reason for that) like I said earlier, millions of people are clamoring for a limited approval space.try make your application simple, straight and unquestionable ...wish you the best.. Your next application will be approved... GOD BLESS tommee: |

10shuare:Be careful with agents. Please make a careful decision as per Canada and Hungary.Do not go for the other just cause the other application process has not gone smoothly. A friend abandoned Canada due to the stress and his visa denial.Went to UK as their visa process is easier..got a visa...went for Msc after 2 years...he had no choice and his back to Nigeria. Now his trying to enter Canada again,if only he tried Canada after the first denial...maybe he may have been granted a visa. And then he will have gotten a 3 years post grad work permit, which most times you will get your permanent residence before it expires.now there is no financial support to get him to Canada like there was when he did the uk application.Do not rush this decision, most people only get one shot at it. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by Austinpee4: 3:24pm On Nov 04, 2017 |
@Lovemeplease Because of the visa chances, try to secure a master admission if possible. Most schools have their requirements for each program published on their website. Once you and your wife are able to identify a school, i believe all necessary minimum requirements would be on the website. So start the search. Also and like it's frequently mentioned here, PGD/C program are work place demand programs. Most times, it favours technically inclined fields/career or used to lunch a new career in a new field other than the previous degree or atleast when an applicant can show that he/she needs the PGD/C as against a master degree or higher. So you and your wife should get this and work cogently in your choice of program so as to overcome the visa challenges. Once you are in Canada, you can choose to study any program of your choice but certainly at the same level of education as the one used for the study permit application. (Post-secondary education). |

Lovemeplease:Let your wife get a student visa before you consider the rest of the family application. If all members of family applies the same time, dont you think it may appear like you all are trying to relocate permanently illegally(that study is not the primary purpose of traveling)? Besides, you will have a better case for your own visa(visit or work permit) and kids visa if your wife is already studying in Canada. Also, please consider the cost before doing this, once your wife is in school she will be busy that she may have to put your 2 kids in day care(depending on their age)...daycares are not cheap in Canada o.do your research as i am sure u want your wife to be able to focus while in school. |

I am so busy these days and I rarely accept PMs. I hope you understand. Please ask your question publicly here so that other readers can benefit. Also I read through your comment history and see that you are applying for an undergraduate program. An additional recommendation I'd provide is that your sponsor show strong sources of income, as well as a bank statement with significant balance even after paying for tuition & living expenses. You say your school fees & other expenses are approximately N7.5m. I'd suggest that your sponsor show a balance of much more than that amount even after paying your school fees & other expenses (because your program is four years long). Also, if your sponsor has dependents, the VO will not consider it credible that the sponsor will spend all of his/her savings on you. So your sponsor's bank statement balance must be more than enough to cover his/her dependents and your educational expenses. Assuming your sponsor has a spouse and two kids, I'd suggest he/she show a bank statement balance of at least N15m (this is just my opinion) in order to show that he/she can comfortably sponsor you. As mentioned above, the sponsor would also provide proof of income and pay one year of your expenses ahead of time. An undergraduate program is four years long and the VO needs to know that your sponsor is financially able to fund each of the four years. 10shuare: |

Secondly, my names as on my passport is Johnson Ngoba Josephine as it is a renewed passport which is different from how it is on my credentials even my birth certificate says Johnson Josephine Ngoba amongst oda docx degree cert, transcript etc...d issue could be traced to my expired passport issuance which was done by my mum when i was in high school. Its a misplacement of names. I hope its not really an issue thirdly, my mum intends using 6million as a statement having paid my fees. I also want to know if I can submit my parents landed properties tho not in my name plus I have no work experience. I finished sch(Unilag) in 2016 and served DAT same yr tho I've been managing my mums business. do you think I should add that by getting an employment letter from mum tho salary no follow Please house look into my matter I'm new. There's no help as great as been in the forum and comparing situations. I have no special knowledge, all you the think I know is all from this forum. In summary I'll advise anyone To try and make sure of a progression academically parental sponsor helps a lot, if theres a gap in educaiton, make sure a simple explanation is enough to lay down your case.
