Secondly,*my names as on my passport is Johnson Ngoba Josephine as it is a renewed passport which is different from how it is on my credentials even my birth certificate says Johnson Josephine Ngoba amongst oda docx degree cert, transcript etc.*It's a misplacement of names. I hope its not really an issue

Hello family,
I got admission to IBT college in Canada to study business management and entrepreneurship (diploma).I had B.Tech in computer engineering in Nigeria. But the reason why I applied for that diploma is to improve my business skills after which I would apply for an MBA in Canada after I have gotten enough experience running a company. I have a registered startup software company in Nigeria. Can I proceed?
thanks guys

pls don’t refer me back to google o... trying to put in for masters in your uni under computer science can you take me through as I will like to know more?
1. Fill out the online application form
2. You would be required to provide two referees. A reference is deemed official if
a. It is sent from an institutional email address
b. Packaged, sealed, signed and sent to the school by
post.
3. Pay the application fee of $100
4. While filling the form, you would be required to fill in your SOP and CV.
5. Download reference form, fill part A which meant be be filled by applicant thrn send it to your referee.
6. Your referee would send in your form to graddocs@uregina.ca with your name as the submit, you would also send in your bsc cert/transcript to the same email address.

However, calm down and read through the departmental website, you would be informed!

Feel free to ask questions though!

Be careful with agents. Please make a careful decision as per Canada and Hungary.Do not go for the other just cause the other application process has not gone smoothly.
A friend abandoned Canada due to the stress and his visa denial.Went to UK as their visa process is easier..got a visa...went for Msc after 2 years...he had no choice and his back to Nigeria. Now his trying to enter Canada again,if only he tried Canada after the first denial...maybe he may have been granted a visa. And then he will have gotten a 3 years post grad work permit, which most times you will get your permanent residence before it expires.now there is no financial support to get him to Canada like there was when he did the uk application.Do not rush this decision, most people only get one shot at it.

Thanks bro

I am so busy these days and I rarely accept PMs. I hope you understand.

Please ask your question publicly here so that other readers can benefit.

Also I read through your comment history and see that you are applying for an undergraduate program. An additional recommendation I'd provide is that your sponsor show strong sources of income, as well as a bank statement with significant balance even after paying for tuition & living expenses.

You say your school fees & other expenses are approximately N7.5m. I'd suggest that your sponsor show a balance of much more than that amount even after paying your school fees & other expenses (because your program is four years long). Also, if your sponsor has dependents, the VO will not consider it credible that the sponsor will spend all of his/her savings on you. So your sponsor's bank statement balance must be more than enough to cover his/her dependents and your educational expenses.

Assuming your sponsor has a spouse and two kids, I'd suggest he/she show a bank statement balance of at least N15m (this is just my opinion) in order to show that he/she can comfortably sponsor you. As mentioned above, the sponsor would also provide proof of income and pay one year of your expenses ahead of time.

An undergraduate program is four years long and the VO needs to know that your sponsor is financially able to fund each of the four years.

Thanks alot bro u have helped alot. Yes my sponsor is married with 3 kids but don't think the wife will be able to release her bank statements. In that case I think I should just go with my sponsors bank statement. Yea?

Good day family, I know this thread caters to traveling to Canada for education, but please oblige me.
I have a sister who was denied visiting visa based on purpose of visit. Is there any way she can remedy it without paying another application fees? Can she appeal and if she can what is the format.
Thank you

Hello Everyone.

Am a prospective Undergraduate student of Memorial University of Newfoundland,Canada.

Have submitted all the necessary supporting Documents to the School but having a problem with the English Language Proficiency Test Score since my TOEFL IBT Test Score was not up their minimuim required score.

Please can someone tell me what will be my fate if i will be admitted or not?

Please i need advice from those who have gone through such suituations both those in MUN present and those in naija.

THANKS and awaits your advices and answers.

MUN will be in a better position to tell you if you qualify for admission or not. Concerning the English language proficiency, cases defer. When I applied for admission I was admitted without sitting for any English exam, all I did was get a letter from my previous school stating I was taught in English language during my program and that worked. A friend of mine(in this same thread) didn't have same luck this year as he was asked to provide a result. So your case can only be judge by MUN alone

There is no issue as long as his current status in Malaysia is still valid.

Moreover, you can advice him to register here, read through this thread and have an idea on how to go about his application.

But then if he already has a degree, why would he want to go for a professional certificate in the same discipline? This is where the red flag starts from.

Like I said, he should put up a good application to offset the professional course thingy if the issue arise.

PS: Go through this thread yourself too, maybe you will understand my reservations about the words in bold.

Check royal air Maroc. Their fares are not bad and the travel time is equally good. I prefer to have a long stay in an hotel and fly less than to be on air for long.
