Why should you fight for someone that doesn't want you?

But she still alive and enjoying her children. Did the 2nd wife get a trophy for becoming the only wife? Don't give the impression that the second wife "won" because if the man had it good, why did he try to reach out to his first wife?
The second wife hasn't come out regretting her status as a wife, someone left her home and now regretting..
She made a foolish decision and admits it..

Men, especially african men aren't created to be a monogamist.. Ladies should take note of that incase of anything.
That's not true.it's the way our society accepts polygamy that made you think that way. Because from the beginning of creation it wasn't so

The second wife is not known to Nigerians, if she has expressed her regrets of getting married as a second wife to those around her, how do we know. Rachel Oniga admitted she would have done things differently but the second woman did not triumph over her as alluded. The husband is dead, the other woman may still be alive who knows and we all have our lives to live.

But he married another woman and I moved on. But I miss the whole union thing, friendship and sharing things together. My advice to young ladies is to keep and fight for their marriages.
.
Perhaps, I was naïve; I never fought for what was mine, but I still thank God. He made many failed attempts at reconciliation. He knew the type of person I am; that when I say no, it is no.
.

Before death took him (ex-husband) away, he called many times. It was my mistake. I should have fought for my marriage. Any young lady must try her best and fight for her marriage. My decision at that time might not have been the best, but I still thank God. I have my regrets too as a human being.”

if only ladies will learn from these words of wisdom , maybe there wont be many broken homes . i find it amusing when some ladies advice their friends to leave their husband houses where as they themselves are going through worse situations in their own marriages. oniga has seen her mistake but alas it is too late , maybe in another life she wont repeat the same mistake again

How does one fights in marriage... physical fight or spiritual fight...... however, whatever answer anyone may have, my dear readers, a woman or man who marries without Godly process is like a seed on the sandy soil.

Men and women have to be strong in the Lord... write the Laws of the Lord in your heart....

Do't think that today humble man or woman will not change with time.... seek the face of God now before fire ignits... then u can't pray but ran around for solution where there may be none.

Look at mama Explanation it a lesson to all... of us... fight the fight of FAITH... there u have victory... You can't tie your wife or husband with rop but with the Super Sounding WORD OF GOD... Only the undefitable word of God from the right mounth can tie a man or woman.. that thing in between your legs must request... but it's left for you to answer...

Remember! what you plant today must germinate... whether good or evil, moral or immoral...

Good luck to all Family.....
You can tell your Godly process to Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Pastor Chris Okotie that had broken marriage but I guess you will be apologetic on this. "Oh they are not super sounding in word of God" "it is the so-called devil's work"

Oga, how to be successful in marriage is by working for it not by some imaginary entity.

Actually I see it as the other way round without any man she still put her kids through school, to me she won, besides am surprised why the husband didn't pay for the kids fee.

Veteran Nollywood actress, Rachael Oniga, recently had a chat with Olusola Ricketts of Punchng, about her failed marriage. On how she coped as a single mother of three, she said: “My first born, Olamide, was four years old when I left my marriage.
.
I had to put them all in boarding schools. That is one of the most painful things I have had to do. Whenever I talk about this, it always brings me close to tears. My children paid the price for something they knew nothing about.
.
The factor (her late husband married another woman) that led to the end of my marriage made me determined to prove to him (ex-husband) that I could stand without any man.
.
I was not ready to give any other man the chance to be a hindrance to my children and me. I also made up my mind that I would dedicate my life totally to my children. I toughened my heart and blocked every opportunity to go into any relationship.
.
I saw myself as equal to any man, regardless of how much money he might have. I didn’t want any man to treat my children badly. I was working for my money and I put my kids in good schools. So, what do I need a man for?
.
I felt all men just wanted was to see the beauty of a woman and walk away. With what my ex-husband did to me, you expect me to trust men again? Before we got separated, he was a good and ideal man.
.

I love the fact that she admitted her flaws too.
That's really humble of her, much respect.

Marriage ain't easy, its like fidelity is so hard nowadays.
The multi-million dollar question, should i divorce him for cheating... Such a difficult decision though the bible allows it.

After all the forming and feeling too big to submit to that particular guy, you realized he is better than the jobless guys around. Now that he is gone, you miss him terribly.

This woman has got some terrible form of ego. So you tried to prove to him you could stand without any man but ended up sending your four years old kid to boarding school. And to think he even made many attempts at reconciliation which you rebuffed. Thank God she's learned her lesson and can now proffer quality advice to the younger generation
