Op, that's a good suggestion and i unequivocally endorse the proposition as am certain the crime rate in lagos will nose dive if this notion is actually put into practice. Many of those ibos that ran to lagos (their mini-london) dreaming of making their fortunes in the big city ultimately turns into crime once they discovered what their (lagosian) uncles told them in the villages about the city is totally fallacious. |

kn23h:4. Naming Abuja as the new Federal Capital Territory As head of state, Muhammed put in place plans to build a new Federal Capital Territory due to Lagos being overcrowded. He set up a panel headed by Justice Akinola Aguda, which chose the Abuja area as the new capital ahead of other proposed locations. On February 3, 1976, Muhammed announced that the Federal Capital, will in the future, be moving to a federal territory location of about 8,000 square kilometres in the central part of the country this is for d afonjas shouting SW.Lagos was a former fed capital ffs wonder why nobody dy shout ekiti or ibadan all na lagos even coup plotters used to say he who controls lagos controls naija cuz it was d CAPITAL. Afonjas shld be calm and respect dia masters |

Pls Lagos is in which Country pls.... You guys should stop sounding like illiterates... Even your Saturday environmental was stopped following a complain by an Igbo woman.. So u children should stop making noise... Lagos is what it is today because all Nigeria former and present all joined hand to see it looks good. If you are jealous igbos are the one taking advantage of Lagos state pls travel to Osun State and make ur claim there as for Lagos it belongs to every Nigerian. |
