Why don't you just mind your business, what you're seeing there is just a sign on honour so that there days on earth will be long, but you have choosen the part where you dishonour your elderly one, you can be rest assured that your days will be short, or you didn't see that in Bible? Let us understand the spiritual dynamics of this whole thing. First and foremost, Christianity is a Faith so the most common expressions one will encounter with Christians are faith based expressions. Where the problem lies with most Christians is what they express their faith on.

Ultimately the Word is the anchor of faith in the personality of Jesus. But faith is also a Spirit and the nature of a spirit is dynamic. It is living. It can move, rest and occupy space and persons. You are right. The ultimate desire and purpose of God for us is reunification with Him. He wants us to fellowship with Him as a son does with his father through the salvation of Jesus Christ. So the Word is the ultimate guide to this objective. However the journey of Faith takes time and people grow in virtue. Before they can fly with the Word God has made it possible for them to tap into the virtues of those who are ahead of them in then faith for instant solutions to pressing problems.

A man with a terminal illness may not be able of have sufficient time to build himself enough faith to overcome his challenge. Likewise a man in deep troubles. It is very unfair for Freeze and others to sit in their comfort and judge people who may just be clinging on to life, sanity or perhaps dignity. What these 'chair worshippers' as they are mocked is exactly the same shouting down that blind Bartimeus received. He persisted and received a reward. I will not be surprised if their faith is likewise rewarded.

When it then becomes a shortcut to a life of the 'Word of Faith', it is God Himself that will ensure it doesn't work.

True. I started attending the catholic church in sec school. And I can say that, despite the fact that religion typically excludes logic and rationality, the catholic church is the closest in combining faith with reason/logic.

Most of the arguments against the catholic church are arguments against religion in general. If I weren't attending the catholic church, I might have been a theist but one who subscribes to no religion.

However, I am still not a Catholic even though I attend the catholic church as I don't agree with all the doctrines of the church.

That said, i disagree with the latter part of your submission, even as humans we NEVER get tired of appreciation. I'm Yoruba and my tribe people eh expect you to thank them for an act, as at:

- When its done - "Thank you for xxxxx",
- The next day - "Thank you for yesterday"
- The next week - "Thank you for last week"
- In the nearest future - "Thank you for the other day"

Now we might not agree that that force is linked to God, but there's some kind of supernatural force out there.

In summary i feel do what works for you. I can evangelize, but not compel. The choice is ultimately yours.

1. Did God use the Apostles to perform these miracles for believers or unbelievers?

2. Did the Apostles ever replicate such miracles in the Church (the assembly of Saints/Christians/Believers)?

I can only imagine if Jesus spat on the ground and used it to heal in today’s world I wonder how Daddy freeze would react I used Jesus and not even Elisha carrying the mantle of Elijah or the children of Israel with the ark of the covenant, Mary using her hair to clean Jesus feet but that’s Jesus how about Paul a renowned murderer of Christian becoming a Christian handkerchief was healing acts 19:11 but what do I known? I know God works in mysterious ways and according to your faith Elisha’s grave was still healing after he died. But the one who is against tithe and men of God who knows the Bible better than others in Nigeria has an opinion. I think the Bible states a reward for such a person if I’m right it’s better for that person to drown himself with a stone tied around his neck than to face judgement.
