Hello Nairalanders engineers help with this, I pretty know much about androids, but this device left me completely clueless, i can't use flashare or sender it won't connect, even when it sees other device but it won't connect..... Someone suggested that is rooting issue, but I've tried several means to root still not working yet.... Help me Pls what could be happening.HOMTOM 17PRO |

Apparently am sure you know how to use SP flash tools cos dats d only way u can root ur fone.... All dis android apk root won't root it cos it's running Android 6.0....u can only root tru laptop.... Meanwhile check xda forum... Dey ve a thread on ur phone dere.. |

Download your phone custom recovery and flash using sp flash tools, then flash super su zip using the custom recovery.. .. |

choosenone001: you don't need to root your phone you solve the xender not connecting problem, all you need to do is when you open your xender, tap on receive and let the other person tap on create, when he has created the connection, tap on the created connection when you find the connection in your xender, immediately go to your wifi connection settings you will see a wifi available with the name xender connect to it and then return to your xender for proper connection then send and receive as you like. |

if u av been trying rooting apps, u are on a long thing the phone can only be rooted via pc as rooting apps like (kingo,rootmaster,framaroot,,,to name a few) all failed to root homtom ht17 pro. if u av a pc for the process send a mail to me to get the required files and explanation on how to go about it. am currently enjoying the resurrection remix os (android 7.1.2). |

WUSUAZARIAH: I have successfully rooted mine now oh but I can't get xposed framework to work on it. After flashing it through twrp, my phone won't pass the boot logo. I flashed the correct one (armx64) but still, no success. I looked online and found its a common problem with homtom ht17. now my rooting stress is useless.  |
